All of a sudden my beautiful, expensive new connection to the outside world of ...
This review won't last long, because Ubuntu 17.10 will be replaced by 18.04 LTS this summer, but this little purchase saved my new computer.I bought a new Linux computer a few months ago, and it came with Ubuntu 17.04 preinstalled. 17.04 expires this coming January, but the computer as it was delivered worked well. In October 17.10 was released. I waited a month, updated the computer and then upgraded to 17.10.All of a sudden my beautiful, expensive new connection to the outside world of the Internet had no sound; wouldn't update; often wouldn't take passwords; had jumpy typing and sent out at least one error message per session - often more.Searching the Internet showed me that lots of people had these 17.10 problems with the direct upgrade, and even more problems than I had had. Messing with terminal seemed like an unproductive idea. The best advice was to reinstall.Bottom line - this works great, and Thank You Very Much!Update: Speaking of update, today on January 16, 2018, the computer booted but did not load the desktop. I tried twice, and then uninstalled and reinstalled the whole mess again. So far it is working again.I had set it to update regularly, but no more. Now it gets updated manually when I have the time to uninstall and reinstall it again. To Ubuntu: Please don't release 18.04 until it is ready.

Scam
It does not boot even after changing the BIOS to USB Boot. If you go into and read the file read me, It says it is free so there is no warranty and so you are paying for the USB. It also says there is no return. You can download the same thing off Linux.org. Download and burn to disc. I will now do this as this is a piece of nothing. Go to Linux.org and get it for free that works.
