Airspun Loose Powder Translucent

This has always been my favorite unscented loose powder, which I have used for years. I couldn't find it locally any more and was delighted to see it was available on-line. I originally purchased it for the good looking container but kept on buying it for the good quality.

Best setting powder ever. The product lasts forever and is such a good price. It does have a smell but i honestly like it but if you’re sensitive to smells or don’t like scent on your face i wouldn’t recommend

I remember back in the late 60's and early 70's sneaking into my mom's make-up drawer in the bathroom to use this same powder. I have been using the original for years, and never really minded the smell since it goes away once applied. This is first time using the talc-free translucent formula. The smell is lighter- a bit citrus or lemon scent, but the coverage is what made the biggest impression. I am not wrinkly nor scarred, but habits of a lifetime of not wanting to be shiny or blotchy make me so happy this provides an even, matte and bright pearly finish. I have found the pads from the old container are much better than the sponge pads so I just wash them and reuse.... UPDATE: 6/19/25 for me this powder still looks beautiful, but I started noticing a grainy texture to my face and little hard bumps that I never had before, then followed by some painful red patches, that have persisted. I did a bit of research of discussions on this new formula with many preferring the original, and though I am still not sure it was this powder, it is the only thing in my simple make up process for decades that is different, and I'm not really liking other brands so I will be ordering the original formula.

I’ve been using this setting powder for a while and love it for locking in my makeup—especially over a spray tan. Does it have a mild old lady smell? Yes, but that’s fine with me. To me it smells a bit like roses which I like and the scent dissipates pretty quickly. I don’t wear much makeup but I do use a lot of different products on my skin. Ive been using loose powder to set my sunscreen for a while but I didn’t like how caked on I looked and felt with the other products I tried. I was recommended this and I’m glad I tried it. It gives a barely there look and feel but it blurs really well. My sunscreen doesn’t move at all. It looks very natural on my skin which is what I like. I didn’t like the powder puff it came with so I use a big fluffy brush. This is now my go-to.

Nice coverage, lightweight. I like the version without talc. It has a very light scent, it does not bother me. My skin is very picky but I didn’t have any issue using this product.

This brand of powder setter is good for photographs. It doesn’t have “flashback”. It also mattes the skin and keeps your forehead from getting shiny. The price is amazing. However, I have tried the different shades and they all seem too light. It can be blended, but the best option is translucent. It sort of disappears. I tried this in honey beige because I’m tan, but the honey beige looks no different than the lighter shades I’ve tried. I decided to return this because it’s just so light. I wish the honey beige actually looked honey beige.
