After returning home after trading in my Mitsubishi Phev Hybrid, with an all electric car, didn't even think about "did my existing wall charger have the right plug!". So go my car back home and no way to charge it from near empty as just expected it would work with my current plug! that evening I bought this little gem, which converts your Type-1 plug to a type-2 plug without any more hardware or wall charger changes. worked a treat and got me out of a short term jam! I upgraded my cable / plug later, but this allows for re-use of any old type-1 plugs hardware. nice bit of kit.

My wife has just bought a PHEV that was a different charger type to our tethered charger. I thought I’d have to buy a new cable but then found this with good reviews. We’ve only used it once but it works! It’s incredibly simple to set up (remember to press the button!) and offers excellent value for money. The quality is first class and hopefully it will prove to be durable.

I bought this for my Mitsubishi Outlander so I could use my Zappi charger that is type 2. It worked the first day and for the past week I could not get it to charge on the timer after midnight or work at any time. Having just bought the car I took it back to the dealer and had them check it all and they updated the software and said it was all OK. Still it would not charge at home and today when looking at it trying to figure out the problem I pushed the silver button on the adaptor and the charging started instantly as I had removed all timers It will teach me to read instructions so make sure you PRESS the silver button when you plug it in.

Very poor product, has already stopped working & I just missed the return cut-off Complete waste of money, recommend avoiding. Flash packaging but don't buy

Our first EV had a type 1 connector, so our home charger was ordered with a type 1 tethered cable. The new car is type 2. This solves the problem. Home tethered cable attaches securely to the adaptor, which plugs into the car. Used for over 6 months now with no issues. Recommended!

This adaptor worked well for me for about 8 months, but it suddenly stopped working. I've now purchased a different branded one and that works fine so it was definitely this adaptor that became faulty. A shame as it looked to be well put together, but it just hasn't lasted as you'd need it to.

Je n'ai pas mis 5 étoiles car il manque la fonction de coupure de l'alimentation avec le verrouillage de la prise de type I.

Je m'en sers d'adaptateur sur une borne 7 kw type 2 cela marche nickel.

Pour ma voiture type 1 très bien
