They work very well with my DeWalt impact driver

This pack of 3 socket adaptors for your impact driver are very handy and I love the clear size indicators. They are a carbon black colour with bright coloured neck collars which have the size clearly written on them. The hex neck fits perfectly in my Makita impact driver and they have been very good so far with a nice fitting square head which has a push ball side to help your sockets stay on when you are using the impact side of it and tightening up bolts etc. The have a small little rubber holder which has 5 holes in it for the 3 adapters which is handy but nothing more than that. Overall, for £5.99 they are good value for money and everyone with an impact driver should have a set as they come in so handy for light duty socket work.

At less than six quid at the time of this review this is a bargain. Pretty well made these give the ability to use my cordless drill as a socket set! How neat is that? Having the three drive sizes it fits any sockets I have, and these have the spring loaded ball bearing to keep the socket in place too. Overall very pleased with these.

A good set for any DIY enthusiast or indeed anyone owning an electric drill and socket set. It allows the sockets to be attached to the drill making quick work of undoing bolts, nuts, etc. There are three adapters in the set for 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch sockets. The adapters seem well made - a good gift for anyone with a toolbox or to keep yourself.

These are good socket adaptors that are well-made and clearly labelled. These adaptor has transformed my impact driver from drilling screws into loosening sockets. The locking ball keeps everything securely tightened and handy to have around. At £5.99 for three different adaptors, there is not much to nitpick.

For me impact tools are where the bit or socket take a hammer blow and hence why you can’t use normal sockets and bits as the metal could shatter under the blow. It never really occurred to me to use a set like this to use with a drill. Whilst my drill has hammer action, it is designed more for drilling, but using it on drill or screwdriver setting with the torque set low it can act like an impact driver. Of course, if the nut isn’t stuck in place, then it simply whips the nut on or off Now I have this, I wish I had got a pack like this a few years back when I bought my battery operated drill / driver. I haven’t had the need to use the 3/8 size yet, but the quarter and half work perfectly. It is just so much faster using the drill to get nuts wound up and then I finish off with a ratchet. I have also used the half inch on wheel nuts to get them in place faster. A simple set for a good price of £6. These have saved me a lot of manual winding turns and for that they are worth their weight in chrome vanadium steel!
