Ok, so I was wary of getting this desk based on the reviews about difficult or impossible construction, but I'm pretty savvy with a drill so I decided if parts didn't fit I could make them. 😂First thing I noticed while taking things out of the box... It was packaged really well. So well that the desk tops even had little plastic corner protectors to keep them from being damaged. Literally none of the pieces had any kind of damage. I was impressed.The first step though, building the drawer cabinet, I ran into my first hiccup. The rails, when attached as indicated, don't look like the picture in the instructions - the front edge sticks out about 1/8" further than the edge of the wood. I decided to let it go though, and it ended up working out fine, but I didn't think it would at first.I also figured out why part 31, the infamous rod that doesn't line up, causes people so many problems. The "short" and "long" ends are only 2-1/2" different from one another. Most people simply cannot tell which end is which without measuring, and I think that's why people are getting to the end and finding out it doesn't line up - they just have #31 flipped. Just be extra careful on that step and it should come out fine.The only other issue I had was gaps between the top panels. By that time, I had spent 5 hours on this desk and my back was killing me, so no way was I going to loosen all my screws again to adjust. My advice is to place all your top pieces down together with the pegs before you screw them all to the frame.All in all, this thing feels really sturdy, secure, and looks great, but it did take a significant amount of time and effort to do it alone. Definitely put it together with another person if you can.

This is everything I expected it to be. Putting it together was time consuming but it went together well and I have had it for a few months now and everything is good with it. I just wish the lock would lock all drawers and not just top drawer

Corner desk for office, looks great and is sturdy. Wood has a quality look. Assembly went okay but directions for the brackets on the drawers are not clear. There are two packets marked "N" but they are not labeled right and left. The directions are not clear about this and I had to use a flashlight to see the markings on the brackets themselves --- looked for this after the drawers would not close and had to re-do all the brackets. Once assembled we are enjoying the amount of space on the desk.

The desk itself when put together is excellent for my needs. Fits beautifully in the corner with the L shape. 2 options of how you put it together is pretty cool too. Half way through putting it together I noticed one of the metal cross braces had a broken weld. The piece was pretty essential to the desk's stability. I emailed customer service, which their email is included on the instructions, and let them know of the broken piece. I was expecting them to hopefully just send the replacement piece. However, they stated that particular piece couldn't be shipped separately from the warehouse, so THEY SENT ME A WHOLE NEW DESK!! I didn't even need to return the other desk. I feel bad they had to send a whole new desk and not just the one piece, but truly appreciate how awesome that kind of customer service is! Instructions are very clear, and easy to put together, although it does take some time to get it all put together. Highly recommend this company and their product.

Overall, it's not a bad desk, but it's not a great desk. It gets the job done and looks nice doing it.Pros- Offers enough desk space- Once assembled the desk is very studyCons- Was an absolute nightmare to assemble. The box is extremely heavy, and you are not going to have fun trying to move it alone and getting it up a flight of stairs requires a minimum of two people. Following the instructions to the letter doesn't help, as sometimes parts of the desk will just refuse to line up and you just must take the time to play around with the screws until you get it positioned exactly right.- 1 person assembly time was about 4-6 hours- While the desk it's self if sturdy, some of the parts of the desk like filling cabinet use a strange screw in attachment I've not seen before that like to work itself loose so the front of the filing cabinet drawer will sometime partially disconnect from the rest of the drawer.

Honestly there really isn't anything wrong with the desk. It could be a little deeper, it's pretty narrow but I'm not using it on a daily basis for work reasons so it doesn't bother me too much. It's a good length on both sides. Really like that it comes with the filing drawer. It wasn't difficult to put together, it was put together by two people and it didn't take too long. The power strip on the desk is also a nice plus.

With only 2 steps left found that the desk didn't line up. Drawers were hard to assemble. Parts need to be better labeled. Took 2 of us about 6 hours to assemble not counting the time we spent trying to figure out why the top didn't line up. I have to get my son to drill a new hole to correct YOUR ERROR. If I had not been only 2 steps from being done I would have packed it up and sent it back for a refund but had to much time already invested. I will never by from this company again and will discourage everyone I know to stay away from them. I have NEVER had anything so hard to put together. This desk was brought for my home work office and now I am embarrassed to have my meetings at my office before I can get the hole re-drilled. Worse product. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

Each piece is individually numbered and the included instructions make it super simple to assemble. Its well designed and made to be sturdy with plenty of support brackets, etc. Wooden dowels make lining up pieces simple. Its a bit taller than I expected or would have liked but I'm getting used to it. I'm using it in a spare bedroom to make a work from home office and its been perfect for my needs.
