I collected about a dozen sets of scissors, from hair cutters to scrap booking scissors to large fabric shears, for a sharpening session when my Tormek Scissor Jig SVX-150 arrived. Tormek suggests that the most common scissor blade angle is 60 degrees. I checked, and only one of my scissors had this angle; there was actually quite a variety of angles. I was careful to match the existing angles in each case and the jig worked very effectively. All of the scissors are a pleasure to use!

Zoals steeds is het een goed gemaakt hulpstuk van Tormek. De mal klemt zich stevig ronde de metalen geleider, waardoor de slijphoek is niet altijd even vlot is in te stellen.
