Paid $27.99 with couponMEASURED: When I measured I was unsure but just outlined his paw as best as I could while holding his other for off the floor to get the measuring foot completely flat on floor. He has long nails as most poodles do. When measuring I only measured the part that went side to side, did not include the length of the nails in my measuring. His measure was 2 1/16" coming to 2.06" which should've been between size 3&4. But the weight was all wrong for that size so I went with his weight which was size 6. Glad I did because these for with his tires buying up nicely against the front of the boot. I did cut his nails down as far as possible, using the Dremel.FIT: First know that these are not made for specific right for it left for, whereas the DcOaGt boots are specific for which side. These boots open nice and wide. I thought they might be to big as they look in the package and when opening the Velcro. But pleasantly surprised! These slipped on his feet crazy easy when I opened the straps. As mentioned previous, his toes on front feet go to the ends of the boot. The hind feet won't quite get there but that's because I think most dogs have larger front paws than back paws. Wrapped Velcro tight enough to keep boots from twisting yet not constrict the blood flow.PERFORMANCE: Haven't taken him outdoors yet, I want to be able to return if they don't work. So I'm keeping them in him inside the house for a few hours. He has had no problem walking in then and it took all of 2 steps for him to realize he could walk. So really no learning curve for him. It'll be a different situation with my little Shih Tzu. He was crazy lifting one paw then the other, then just sat where he was. We had to coax him to come forward with a treat. But poodles are very smart, my daughter has a Pit mix and it takes him a while every time he wears his shoes to figure it out, so.. I think be prepared to be patient and offer rewards to get your dog to move. Having said ask that I went to a bedroom and called my poodle up on bed. He had no difficulty jumping in the bed with his shoes on. These boots seem as is they are well made, so if I keep them they will hopefully hold up well and protect his paws on our frozen ground this winter.EXTRA THOUGHTS: Winters can be very tough here, weather gets down below zero a lot. Never bothered with these before (Poodle is 9yrs) but my Shih Tzu refuses to go on walks when it's super cold. So thought if I was going to do it for one of of our boys I'd best do it for both.These boots have a lot of grip, I may decide to use these even inside the house due to the wood floors always getting scratched from their play and both seem to get long nails so quick! Thigh I'll take them off definitely at night and intermittently through the day I think.Hoping these will work fine. At the same time I bought a pair from DcOaGt to see which fit/worked best. I'll update but they seem well made and so far no twisting.

These fit my Aussie Laberdoodle very well and protect his paws and are perfect to keep them clean. I have NOT noticed any chaffing or discomfort and once he got use to them he walks perfectly in them. The Velcro doesn’t get suck on his fur and there hasn’t been any fur that has gotten stuck in it. This is definitely worth the money.

UPDATE: The customer service was great! They obviously want their customers happy. The seller reached out to me and offered 2 other styles to try and help me get the right measurements; however, the replacement boots wouldn't work for my small dog either. Because of this, they gave me a full refund and also forwarded my suggestion to the manufacturer (to make the boots taller). Perhaps, in the future, they may make a boot that will stay on. I am still going to improvise the boots I have by adding a makeshift sock to the top and velcro that piece to the shoe. They are, in my opinion, the cutest boot out there.Original Review:These shoes are very cute. Got lots of compliments on them; however, they constantly slip off my dog's feet. I think if they were taller they might stay on, but they are only 1 inch high from the top of the foot. I was once able to complete a 36 min. walk with all shoes still on his feet; but today I couldn't keep them on at all. I think if my dog were old and arthritic they would stay on. My dog is 7 mos. old and wants to move quickly. His quick movements don't help. He has a serious bee sting allergy and was stung twice in 3 wks. Had to go to ICU so Im trying to protect him from further stings. I can't return these shoes since I labeled them LF, RF, etc. I was so confident after my 36 min walk that I wanted to be sure to put each shoe on the same foot each time thinking that would be key. That didn't work of course. So I cannot recommend these shoes at all. And they were costly as well.

These boots are awesome! I got these for my Anatolia Shepard. They stay on her feet exactly how you put them on. They do not spin around on her feet. They are comfortable to her. I am very impressed with these boots. So impressed how well they do on her feet I bought 2 more pairs.

I just opened my package and there are clear signs that this product has been used. I understand the need to try a product on but these have actual dirt and wear on the underside. I specifically chose the “new” option, not gently used. Therefore paid full price and still received a used product.I used the six guide when ordering, however, they are still too short for my dog’s paws, making it impossible to secure them on for a lasting fit. They need to come further up into the leg. I will be returning this product and pray I receive a full refund as I am not the one that used them.

adorable! true to size, once my dog warmed up to them he loved it, way more water resistant than expected definitely worth it

Good quality shoes. My big guy is slow t accepting these boots but seems to be able to walk in them nicely. Good for hot pavement and snow covered pavement.
