I don't usually write reviews, but figured I would toss this out there because I saw a few folks complaining about the bristles falling out after trimming it down to size. The bristles are held in with a simple crimp in the brush insert. If you cut it, you have to re-crimp the end to retain the bristles. Slide the brush out of the bracket and cut bracket and brush separately. I used a hack saw because I was worried tin snips would mangle the finished end too much.Crimp the cut end of the brush right away. I used a pair of vice grips, but a big set of pliers would work as well. You might also want to crimp the brush and bracket together after you put them back together to keep the brush from sliding around in the bracket.Anyway, decent quality, and it was nice it came attached to a cardboard tube to prevent bending while being shipped.

Arrived on time and was packaged to be practically indestructible. Needed it to close a 2 inch gap at the bottom of our front courtyard entry gate. Always getting leaves and an occasional snake (lots of those here in Arizona) under the gate. A little paint changed it from gold to black to match the gate. Attached it to the gate with self-drilling screws. Silicone bristles fill the gap perfectly.

It does what you need it to, but if you need to cut it the brushes fall out.

This looks nice and it really does brush oit any dirt when closing the door. The reason I gave 4 stars was because once I cut it to size and installed it the bristles started coming oit of the side in huge piles! So I had plastic bristles getting all over the land which is not environmentally friendly and is bad for thr land. I managed to clean up the mess and fix the door brush by putting clear caulk at the end if the door brush where the bristles were escaping.

These brushes are soft and flexible. Easy to install and work perfect for the roll up door on my workshop. I put the brushes inside. When the door is down, which is the vast majority of the time, there is a 2 1/2” gap that birds, mosquitoes or anything can get in. These brushes cover the gap and when the door goes up they flex up. Works very well.

Needed this to keep leaves from blowing underneath my screen door. Unfortunately, my door is kind of a strange size so I had to buy this in a larger size and cut it down, which was not all that easy to do. Measure your door and if you can't find one the correct size, be aware that cutting the bristles is challenging, as they are not individually anchored into the channel! When you cut it, they will start to fall out unless you crimp it down or use some kind of sealant to hold them in place. Once installed, though- works great!

This sweep arrived without any instructions and no hardware. I was hoping for any literature from the manufacturer to be included so I would have a contact place for possible replacement brushes, but that wasn't the case. I used my own self tapping screws to attach the sweep to a steel door because this did not come with any screws like the description. I picked this product because of the silicone brush vs nylon and because it covered up to 2".

Worked perfectly as a sweep for screen porch door for outdoor use. Had a few rains and it kept the rain from coming in. Time till tell how long it will last but for outdoor use this is better than rubber. Cut to length with a hacksaw without issues, have not seen any brissles fall off yet also.

Wish it was longer but I haven't ever found one longer. You might have to cut yours like me, but the cutting was simple and painless using a dremel. Mine is on a garden gate so make sure you seal the cut end with something.

Good quality door sweep. Easy to install. Excellent product to close off the eliments, debris & snow/rain from coming into your building. Even if your floor is uneven the soft brush permits full coverage. Also quick shipping!

The bristles come off too easily.They will now need replacing only after a few short months.Not a good product
