This is the good one. Had several cheap TV remote's in past and they just don't feel sturdy. However this has a solid feel to it.I am using it with an 10yr old Samsung TV which I feed a Blue ray and sat box through. Will point out some times having switched to outside source seen a program or film and want to get back to normal DTV there doesnt appear to be a button to do it. So I have to use my old remote which has a TV/DTV button, new remote doesn't have TV/DTV button . But hey my TV is over ten yrs old, and isnt very clever I mean Smart..... Also iv got grey air so it could be dare I say operator errorSo overall vg remote, well made. V Pleased.

This is a genuine OEM product and it is identical to the remote control which was supplied with my Series 6 smart / 3D Samsung TV. If you are buying this to replace the Samsung remote (model number AA59-00581A), which came with your Samsung smart / 3D TV you will know the quality and functionality of this remote, as it is the exact same unit. If you are unsure of the model of your Samsung remote, the model number is printed just above the Samsung branding on the front of the unit. If the remote control for your Samsung TV has a different model number, I would recommend you look for a direct replacement for the remote which came with your TV. Although the most common buttons such as volume, channel, mute, power and the number buttons on this remote will probably work with any Samsung TV, some more dedicated buttons may not and also there may be buttons required for your TV which are not included on this remote control. Finally this remote control does not come with the two required AAA batteries.

Great replacement remote. Nice and big, fast delivery with prime, only a small niggle was I pressed pause and it worked once, then the next time I pressed it it sends the TV back to the home page and leaves the program you are watching completely. Quite annoying but I lived without pause for years I guess so a small niggle compared to having no remote control. (where the hell do they go !!? Still not found it !!??)But it did work straight out the packet, no need to program so that's a bonus.

I'm always sceptical when it comes to buying replacement electrical accessories, assuming them to be pattern parts rather than the genuine article. In this case, I'm happy to report that the reality seems to match the description. In build quality at least, this remote appears to be a match for the original Samsung remote control.The buttons feel similar (though a couple of functions have moved, presumably as the result of manufacturer revisions and updates to the design between us buying our TV 4-5 years ago and replacing the remote). It worked straight away with the TV and the TV responds as quickly as it did when the old remote control was working.

What is it with me and remote controls! First one got mislaid at Christmas ..no doubt got thrown out out with the wrapping paper... replaced from this company. Then lighting the log burner in the lounge and decided to change the tv station and replaced on top of log burner ... you guessed it one dribbling plastic mess! Defo a senior moment there, replaced that one too from this company and again perfect as described, arrived ahead of due date & works perfectly... would highly recommend.. hopefully not for me again lol ..well . not until next year any way ...

The detail is that there is a button to go direct to HDMI, but not one to return to DTV. To return you have to go to the menu then source list and scroll up to DTV. it annoys me every time. The HDMI button should have been the DTV one.

This was a genuine Samsung remote and an exact copy of the one that stopped working. It arrived quickly
