Absolutely Perfect!
Absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for selling this in Amazon. It works great. I can see some minor design differences leading me to believe it is a better design than the original. I do believe this one will last longer. Form, fit and Function are a perfect match. For all of those people with an OEM screen on a GM product that randomly starts selecting menu options or randomly starts changing screens, this is the fix that permanently fixes the problem. GM has bad digitizers in 2015 and forward SUVs and Pickups (includes Chevrolet). GM is also not able to get replacement head units (expensive). My dealer told me they could not get parts to fix it because they are unable to get the parts from China. The last resort was for me to open up the head unit and get the part number off of the cable that is part of the digitizer and take a picture of the digitizer including the cable before disconnecting the digitizer and reinstalling the head unit. There are a couple of cable orientations associated with the same part number digitizer. So, visually matching the cable orientation is recommended. The result was no touch screen capability temporarily. But, the random selections stopped proving it was the digitizer that failed over time when exposed to high temperatures. There are videos on YouTube on how to replace a digitizer. I simply followed the videos and replaced mine. There are a lot of screws and unused screw holes. I do recommend taking a permanent magic marker and marking each hole a screw is removed from. It makes it easier to reassemble. Also take lots of pictures during the process. If you get lost on how to reassemble, the pictures during disassembly really help. Once again, thank you for selling this on Amazon! It is really appreciated. Bonus: The price I paid for this compared to a head unit replacement was a no brainer. The Chevy Dealer was talking >$1,000. Ouch!

Excellent replacement
Once I figured out how to remove the old one, putting this in place was easy. I hooked it up, turned it in and it was perfect. I drove over 2K miles since install. No issues. It fixes the problem with old screen changing on its own.

Does not function, got a lemon
Review updated see bottom.Tried this as I had the common ghosting issues with stock screen. Screen came well packaged and protected. Look up videos for installation, and be careful when disassembling radio, ribbon wiring is delicate and easily damaged. Mine came with adhesive already applied and ready to go. The clarity is much better than factory, however it is more reflective as well. This would be great if it actually worked. The one I received will allow me to do a touch calibration, after that it does not function whatsoever. I double checked connections etc. several times to no avail. My ghosting issue is not there currently and I just have to operate it from the buttons and knobs. So after half a day of mucking around I still do not have a touchscreen but at least 50% of my problem is gone....could have achieved that by just disconnecting old one and saved my money and time. No point in a return as you will surely break it during removal.UPDATE: Screen inexplicably started to function properly a couple of days in after install I have no idea what caused the change....maybe the GM software? About a week of it working so far so I am happy about that.

Did the trick for me
The touch screen in my 2015 Suburban was unresponsive, and sometimes would mystery select options in the menu. After researching I figured out the digitizer had gone bad and was a pretty common issue. I bought this and fixed it myself & it's been great ever since. The installation is a bit involved but wasn't difficult. I'm happy that it's working again.

Excelent functionality
My Acadia GMC 2018 touch screen was going crazy (it seems to be a very common problem). This was the only solution that worked for me.

Sent it back, but ot because it wasn't good.
As my headline says, I sent this back, but the only reason why I sent it back was because I realized how secured the current touch panel was to the display screen, that I didn't want to mess around with it and just bought the full display and touchpanel assembly. The price difference was about $130, but for me, I was more interested in saving time vs the cost. If you have the time to try and remove the current one, then this is the way to go. I saw on many vehicle forums for GM vehicles recommending this part. I didn't mark for install or adhesion since I didn't use either, but the wuality of the part itself was pretty solid. I may get this again now that I got my screen replaced and keep it as a spare, but I'll cross that bridge when I need to.

2016 touch screen replacement
This replaced the digitizer in from of the monitor in my truck. The fit was perfect, it does not come with instructions. I followed several video instructions on YouTube to see how to install it correctly. My original touch screen had developed a mind of it’s own and parts of the screen were unresponsive. The dealer wanted $1,100 to replace it. This so far has fixed all my problems.

Works but glass is reflective
Functionally this is great, worked as desired. Installation was more difficult than it needed to be, it was slightly smaller in size than the OEM so alignment onto the bracket was not easy. The glass on this is straight clear with no coating so when I say its reflective, ITS REFLECTIVE. You see everything mirrored into the glass from your seats to lighting. Its VERY HARD TO SEE IN THE DAYTIME.All in all it works but you get what you pay for.

It worked and I saved hundreds of dollars
It worked perfectly once installed. Getting the glue off the original mounting surface was the most time consuming part of the installation.

Worked great
Came with adhesive attached for installation. Just installed and it fixed the issue. Hopefully fix will last.

Worst screen ever
I spent about two days looking at all the reviews on the different suppliers of these 8" 55 pin touch screens and I narrowed it down to two or three, well did I choose the wrong one, because when it was installed it was worse than the old one that it was going to replace the radio went directly into the ghosting problem and changing of the screen and no touch function at all. I was not very impressed.

Touchscreen still not working.
Sadly this did not fix my issue, my touch screen was completely dead, installed this one and still have the exact same issue, system does not respond to touch. Not sure if I was sent a defective touchscreen or there is something else wrong with my system ..,
