Arived perfect. The system is with 20W louder than most small sound systems. Remote control is a nice feature. CD is a bit difficult to put in from the top. Due to close proximity of builtin left and right speakers the stereo effect is no so great. But better than single Bluetooth speakers. Comes with UK plug, but easy to find an adapter or new DC power plug for US. Works fine with 110V/60Hz of US.

I'm no audiophile, but the sound quality is great as far as I'm concerned. There's a lack of station information on the radio and no DAB which make the radio offering seem a little dated. I primarily use it paired with my phone for playing music and that works really well with a decent reception range and the pairing was painless. Have to remember to turn it off or I forget my phone is connected until I get a very loud notification!

Sound system itself is ok but the power adapter that this unit comes with is the worst design I've ever come across. I have almost the same model for another room in my house (BTM2462) and it comes with a normal adapter that allows the unit to sit next to a wall. This design fuses the plug and the power pack at a 90 degree angle with a short power cord so that when you plug it in with the unit in front there is a huge gap between the speaker & the wall. If I'd known about this problem I would have just ordered the BTM2462 model as the price is very similar but I originally went with this due to the black colour.

Its not bad but the sound quality is not really that good.. its ok if you want to listen to the radio but not really very good if you want to appreciate your favourite albums.....
