Lecithin Liquid 32 Ounces

I was searching for a way to make my bread come out with a softer, more consistent texture. I came across some articles about soy lecithin and figured I'd give it a shot. The results were immediate. I tried a very simple white bread recipe, the first one in the bread maker manual. I just added about a teaspoon of soy lecithin and it came out great! Perfect, soft texture, lots of small bubbles, good rise, and great taste. I've been using it in every bread recipe since. Haven't had one yet which didn't come out great.I did find it is very sticky. It coats the measuring spoon, and your fingers if you touch it. Now I just pour it right from the bottle and guesstimate the amount.

If you're wondering if this liquid lecithin can take some heat- wonder no more. This product is fantastic and can be substituted in place of lighter cooking oils. It's a healthy fat so it really can't do any harm. Add it to ingredients before cooking is finished and it will start to bubble and brown- but try not to overheat it. Recipes on the back label too.

I purchased this item on line because I do a lot of traveling and sometimes it is difficult to find nature food stores while on the road. And when I do, I have found that the price difference is very little compared to this one. So, I no longer worry about locating a store in town. I just order directly through here. I already compared prices from others, and this location is the best price. Their shipping track record is also excellent.

It worked like it was suppose to and everything came out great!!! Better than using the granules.

Seems to be a good product. Have been using it in my whole grain bread, and it seems to help the bread hold up against sprouting mold (as can happen fairly quickly with homemade whole grain bread). We usually eat bread quickly, but recently have had some loaves go uneaten for a couple of weeks and I've seen no mold growth. Uneaten bread has been tossed due to getting dry and the texture changing, but not because of mold.

disappointed to learn that this is made from gmo soy. also, there is a warning on the label for prop 65 danger. I have not idea what that means, it cannot be good, though. arrived with a cheap white cap that was broken. the heavy bottle was wrapped well, the cap is just too cheaply made to withstand much pressure. the lecithin had leaked through the cap...what a mess. I know some people don't care about gmo products, but i do and cannot recommend this.

It was exactly what I was looking for to use in certain recipes etc.It's stored in a big, chunky brown glass bottle with a plastic type of lid--Needless to say...Mine didn't even get a chance to be used 🙁Instead...I found it almost empty, the liquid lethicin spilled all over my kitchen linens and first aid items/ruining them.It's part the return window deadline so there's nothing I can probably do about it.
