Great set, but fragile so be careful
Loved the design and theme, nice art that just needs a while to get used to (to know what the pieces are).The only issue is that the pieces are somewhat fragile since they’re made of resin I think. So be careful not to drop them otherwise they might chip.

Be gentile
Ok, its beautiful! But NO it is not sturdy and it sure as hell is not durable. Lol. The pices are extremely light and they will break with a gentile squeeze. The glass board is lovely and thick though, the pieces and the feet are made of a very delicate material. (I don't know what the material is, but its painted and white inside, I know because one of the feet lost a spike when it fell on my carpet ;)). I keep it as an ornament...so I'm happy. If you want to use it, then you need something more durable or you need to be very gentile.

Looks good
After reading the reviews for this chess set I took a gamble as its not that cheap, but I have to say I'm happy with the way it looks , yes the pieces are kinda lightweight but the detail is great, I don't play every day so it's more ornamental and looks nice set up on my side table.

Good quality but let somewhat down by lack of a storage box
Pieces are nice looking and highly detailed. Board looks well made. Disappointed the set doesn’t come with a box to keep the board and pieces in and feel it should at this price, abd to support the quality gift feel. Arrived in crumbling polystyrene which kept the set safe in transit but won’t be usable for storage or display. The pieces are well designed but quite different to a standard chess set, so I’m hoping my son will be able to identify the pieces easily once he gets used to them. Overall happy other than the lack of a case.?Edit - we found the pieces to be extremely fragile with bits breaking off easily when dropped. Not recommended as not durable/fit for purpose

Everything came in good time and nothing broken only issue is the advertisement leads to believe there glass has a boarder around it, it dosnt its just a glass sheet with the chess squares on them
