No Means No
A good book to support children learning about their own safety. Lovely pictures for them to understand.

Great book!
Fantastic book to teach young children about personal boundaries, I read this to my almost 4 year old and she understood very well, I did change the wording slightly when I read it to "No thank-you" instead of "no!" and also explained to her that if she doesn't want someone to do said thing she can simply say "no thank you", which she has been doing since teaching her this.

Excellent for preschool children.
I bought a variety of books for my 4 year old to approach this subject and this one i feel was really good in that it wasnt too explicit. It gently approached the subject with respect that no means no and as a child you have the right to say no to physical contact. It talked about kissing and hugging and tickling all without making me feel uncomfortable reading it to her and she enjoyed saying "no" when i would say "no means...?.". Highly recommend this for pre-school children.

Brilliant book
This should be recommended to all parents when having children. Very informative and helps teach children in an age appropriate way about consent and their right to say no.

Good book with useful message (if your child understands it!)
Decent little story about saying no to things which are inappropriate or make your child feel uncomfortable. Not entirely sure my child got the correct message though and has been yelling "No means no!" when asked to do regular everyday things like tidying her room, brushing teeth etc!!

Good book for introducing a difficult topic
Good book for introducing a difficult topic. I was a little concerned by 4 year old would start saying 'No means No' to everything (e.g. putting his clothes on for school) - but he hasn't! It's a good reminder for parent (or relatives) that physical boundaries for children need to be respected so that that understand that they are allowed/can say no if someone is trying to touch them inappropriately.

This book was recommended by Mighty Girl
Clear and effective book aimed at helping preschool and school age girls to stand up for themselves and being able to say 'No' and mean it when in uncomfortable situations. This book was recommended by Mighty Girl, a wonderful website and facebook page which all parents of girls should know. I will certainly recommend this book to other parents as well as another excellent book called 'My body belongs to me'.
