A good buy
My three year old granddaughters used this right away with good results. The size and flexibility of the scissors are pluses because it fits their little hands and they can successfully handle it, especially when I first demonstrate how to use it. If they can "open and shut" their hands, they can cut paper. This product is worth it.

Mini Easy Grip Scissors
The Mini Easy-Grip Scissors are very sharp, easy to use & have a plastic safety cover for the tips of the scissors that locks the scissors closed. These scissors spring open once taken out of the safety case so one only closes the scissors once to make a cut, let go & they are ready for the next xut. exactly what I needed. I've used them a month or more now & would buy them again in an instant.

Great product!
Great scissors for special needs kids! These are excellent for children who have a hard time using regular scissors or cannot hold them. These are easy to hold and open back up as you cut on their own so the child does not struggle. Work great for adults with disabilities too, but I would look for the larger size they sell for adult hands. I totally recommend these!

Great for children who need adaptations
My son has triphalengeal (thumbs are fingers) and had syndactly on his left hand but had surgery- so he only has 4 fingers on that hand. These scissors are great for him! When we started he had to use both hands but now he only uses one, works for his left and right hand. He is 3 YEARS old for age comparison. Very pleased!

Helpful for kindergartner with fine motor challenges
I have a 5-year-old with Down syndrome so fine motor skills can be a challenge, and these can help built hand strength. These scissors are easy to grasp but I wish the handles were a little more grip-friendly vs. slippery. My 4-year-old also prefers them.

Perfect for grip size for young toddlers
These scissors are great for my 2.5 yr old - they are easy to use and it helps develop the squeezing skill for cutting with regular scissors later on. Sharp and easy to cut through paper without tearing.

can cut in her nursery classroom like the rest of her peers
Finally, my child, who is a very small hand due to missing joints and muscles, can cut in her nursery classroom like the rest of her peers. And she is so proud of HER scissors. This is perfect for small hands, hands with anomalies, and weak muscles. For me, this worked like a charm and finally solved the "scissor using" crisis!

Loop Scissors work great
I purchased these scissors for my son last year when he was 5 years old. My son has CP and uses these type of scissors at school with his Occupational Therapist so i wanted to get a pair for home as well. Although he needs to use hand-eye coordination to control the scissors to close, they automatically open back up. Another plus is that they work just as well for left and right handers.(a big deal for us lefties) I tend to misplace my own scissors and find myself using these to open items, etc. also.
