Easier and cheaper than rubber based roofing paints
Provides good coverage and durability. Applied it last week (in a cold, wet, grim January) and creates a strong, weatherproof seal, making it a great choice for protecting roofs. Straightforward to apply, just give it a good mix before you start.

Good product but appalling delivery
Five stars for the product itself. It's a quality product, easy to use and does exactly what it's supposed to do, as do all Everbuild products. However, zero starts for the delivery and I am in full agreement with other reviews. The box, heavily wrapped with 'Fragile' tape was battered and round. The 2 cans themselves were even more battered and almost square. I had to knock one of the tin bases back into shape as it was impossible to stand the can up. The other tin had a pinhole leak on a highly damaged bottom weld, probably the viscosity that stopped a worse leak.I shouldn't have been surprised by this as the courier is one of the worst there is.Sellers ought to show which courier they use so that buyers have a choice as to whether to risk their purchases in the hands of incompetent and apathetic carriers.

Good product
Easy to apply. Must stir before use to get the fibres up. Really pleased with the product.

Not as thick as I expected.
I bought this because I wanted to waterproof a summerhouse roof and I remembered using a bitumen and fibre compound on a roof on a farm 50 years ago (in my youth). I expected this to be the same. I don’t know whether fibres cost a lot of money but they’ve been a bit mean with adding them to this mix, and it’s impossible to get them all mixed in and because there’s too few fibres and too much liquid, they settle to the bottom within 30 seconds of stirring, I tried making a whisk and spinning it with the electric drill but no matter how long I did it for the fibres would immediately sink to the bottom. Eventually I poured off the excess liquid bitumen and was left with a thick “porridge” in the bottom half of the tin and that’s what I remember from 50 years ago. It’s gone on fine now and left a really thick layer which is what I wanted so that I could put some cedar shingles on top.

Still not dry!
Applied one coat to the roof of my shed which went on great and seems to have done the trick. Since I still had half a tin left I went back a week later to put on another coat. Only trouble was I was sticking to the roof of my shed whilst I was doing it. Still, it seems like everything is now waterproof even if it’s still tacky after two weeks. No big deal I suppose although I pity any cats, birds, etc that go on my roof!
