I'm not using this for science... I'm just using this to mix pre-workouts and the like because it's cool. And to that end it works relatively well though the magnets aren't strong enough for glasses with thicker bases. The provided stir bars aren't awful but I'd recommend spending the extra ~$10 to get some better ones with a retriever.

I ordered this as part of a gift. I have one and ordered the same one. The first one worked for about a minute, then stopped. Checked the outlet, plugged in different outlets, doesn't work. Sent it back for an exchange, get the new one, it won't even turn on. Tried multiple outlets.
