It works
Works extremely well. I can't think that anything else could do a better job. It does have a hole in the handle for hanging on a hook, and it in fact comes with a wall hook. It's a challenge to think of a way to keep it clean but cling film does a reasonable job. For the first use the plastic bag it was in tied with a rubber band at the top was ideal, but you don't want to keep what you wrapped it in.

We found that the best way was to push the plunger into the toilet ...
Hmm, how do you "love" a toilet plunger? Well, let me put it this way, it's the only thing that has come close to solving my problem. We had a blockage in our toilet that could not be cleared effectively. Tried the chemical method: bleach, clothes biological washing soap, drain cleaner without success. We tried other physical methods, which included a ToiletSaber, which failed because it wasn't long enough. In the US you can buy a toilet plunger that is shaped to find the top of the toilet bowl, however there is no equivalent in the UK that I could find. In the end we found this product, the Lypulight. I have to confess, looking at its design, that it seemed unlikely to work, however it's cheaper than a plumber, so I ordered one. Desperate times and all that. When it arrived we tried it and it sort of worked, but not completely. However, having honed our technique, we have found that it seems to have cleared the blockage. We found that the best way was to push the plunger into the toilet bowl then lift it so that the back vane was just above the level of the water, then quickly force it forward and back several times. The first couple of times the water came back (along with other things, unfortunately). However, after a number of applications it appeared to clear the problem as the water did not return into the bowl and when flushed the toilet level returned to the normal level immediately. This is not an immediate fix, it took a number of applications and practice to get it right. But, it has cleared the blockage successfully. I therefore recommend it very highly as nothing else worked.

Brilliant!
This is one of the best things I have ever bought! My son regularly blocks the toilet and it used to be a nightmare trying to unblock it. However this is brilliant and has made life so much easier. It’s really easy I use and works quickly and (so far) every time. Brilliant and so much more effective than a normal plunger.

Useless!!!
First time of using this I realised it doesn’t create a seal when plunging ...therefore useless at clearing blockages, then the plastic part came off & was wedged in the toilet, which I retrieved wearing rubber gloves! Tried to screw it back on but the plastic thread of the screw fitting has no deep grooves & was impossible to screw back on firmly, can quite literally be pulled off with no effort. Very flimsy, badly made appallingly bad quality product that doesn’t even work ...don’t waste your money!

A Black Mark
This does work well in principle, creating a vacuum when in use, which should help with most blockages. However, following use it has left a stubborn black mark on the toilet bowel, which is inexplicable as there was no contact with any metal parts which might have explained this blemish. The mark has faded after rigorous cleaning efforts, but I still wonder what caused it in the first place.

Not successful
Did not clear the problem. The end section that goes into the bowl isn’t big enough and as a result doesn’t create a seal / enough pressure to move blockages. Also a degree of splashback when force is used.

Yay! It worked!
I tried all the "guaranteed" techniques on a certain video hosting site without any success. I bought this after reading the reviews. Delivered in less than 24 hours. It comes with an instruction card, written in Chinglish, which brightened my day no end. After five minutes I was beginning to wonder if I'd bought unwisely. But after 10 minutes... It was clear!! 16 quid well spent. Much cheaper than a plumber. It even comes with a nifty little hook to hang it up on. For some reason my wife isn't keen on having it hung up in the shower room.
