Easy to learn gameplay with strategic depth
From the first time I played Magic Dragons, I was blown away by how much strategic depth I had to uncover. Picking up the game took no time at all— by my second hand, I was rivaling my opponents who had played dozens of times before me. Although the initial gameplay came easily, each time I have payed since, new strategies have come to light to either enhance my game or mess with my opponents’.This game is genuinely accessible to all ages, which I can tell you— as an older brother with two younger siblings who are not typically card game people— is a HUGE plus. The game combines a perfect mixture of strategy and luck of the draw to make even the most “perfect” plans subject to very sudden, very impactful comebacks.Overall, I would rank Magic Dragons in the absolute top tier of card games. If you’re looking for something simple to pick up while simultaneously providing deeply strategic possibilities, I would absolutely point you towards Magic Dragons.

Great family game
We love this game, we play it often and - based on my family of 4 - it’s fun for ages 9-39. The video is great. It involves both strategy and luck. You can choose to play safe or take risks, you can attack others or focus on your own hand. A full game for 4 people takes about 20-30 minutes. Within each round your score can fluctuate, you might score 0-15 points which makes the race to 40 points exciting. Sometimes family members teamed up, but not enough to stop my winning. I will say that this game has nothing to do with dragons. They are printing on the cards but no other dragon references, this didn’t bother me.

Easy to play but still requires strategy.
This review is from an adult perspective. The cards are good quality. Easy for two people to play and the rounds (hands) go quickly. Does require strategy. For each round you get seven cards and that is all that you have to play that round with. I have only played two handed. More people would make the strategy harder. Nice game to do play that you can quickly get started with to pass some time.
