Great tool to measure salt level in your pool
The tester was very easy to use, and very accurate. I compared the salt readings I got with the tester with the salt test at my local pool shop and they were the same. It's a good unit, accurate, and very easy to use. I'd recommend it for anyone that has a salt water pool or any pool.

Pool Users: Great for salt level check, not so great for pH.
It is easy to use out of the box. It is very consistent with the salt level readings (I double-checked with a chemical tester and the difference was less than 100ppm, which is fine to check salt levels for a pool with a salt chlorinator). So worth to do salt level measuring - takes a few seconds and reliable. As for pH, you have to calibrate it frequently (it comes with the powder to do the calibrations), but becomes a hassle to calibrate and you never know if it is calibrate it or not. So I use the chemicals to measure pH (just more reliable and consistent over time).

Pool water pH and Salt levels
I ordered this device to test the pH and salt levels in my pool, in addition to using the Taylor Test Kit 2006C. My intention was to use it to verify the instant salt readings from the Hayward T-cell-15 and reduce the need for pH testing with the Taylor kit. However, after numerous attempts to calibrate the pH using the powder included with the device, and even bought the salt solution to calibrate the salt, I found that it consistently gives pH readings that on average are between 0.3-0.5 lower than expected. Additionally, the salt level measurement is about 300 ppm lower than the instant salt reading from the T-cell chlorinator. I am still searching for a reliable device that can accurately measure pH and salt levels in my pool.By the way, I notified the seller, and they issued a refund.

A must have for saltwater pool. Saves me the time from having to take samples to the local pool house supply for testing.

This tool is easy to use and great to get quick readings to maintain pools.

Stopped working after one year
It only lasted a year and then the readings were inconsistent and they were taking a long time. The readings seem to still change after more than a minute in the water.It was great while it worked, but I am not sure how accurate it was, and I expected to last longer than a year after cleaning it every time in distilled water and keeping it in a box inside the air conditioned house,
