Great help to get my solar panel pointed to the sun properly.Works like a charm. I pointed my panel to the sun and took a charging reading. Then used this to set it properly and increased my charging output over 1 amp on a 100 watt panel. I was close but I was missing out on the extra amp.Recommend

Rather thin box
This product is nice enough in its fit and finish and no doubt function, but the acrylic from which the box is made is too thin. It arrived in a simple plastic bag i.e no real protection. Unfortunately it was shipped in a larger box along with some other products and was badly damaged on arrival.I sent it back and bought something else. If the manufacturer shipped it in a decent box it should work just as well as any other brand of similar design.

Fragile but simple
It's a rather stone age, simple little device. It's not instant, it does need to be placed and then monitored for a time before you can see the results. It's a nice gadget to have, but honestly I've used it once and that's it. But it would be different if I was traveling a lot and constantly in a new place where I wasn't familiar with the area and were the sun passes over. Since I know my property really well, I don't really need a device like this. I already know the best angle for my solar panels.

Does the job
Set this on top of one of my solar panels and it showed that I do have it at the correct angle. Simple and easy to use. The only thing I would change is to make the top half connect to the base better. They come apart very easy, almost to easy.
