Great Mini Microwave
I purchased this microwave after moving from a house into an apartment. I previously had a full size over the range GE microwave but downsized to this mini version because my kitchen is so tiny now. This one has the exact same key pad which is awesome because I really liked the previous keypad. This is just large enough to fit one dinner plate inside which is good enough because really, all I use a micro for is to cook frozen dinners and heat cold food. I haven’t noticed much difference in how it cooks/heats as I automatically leave it on a little longer to make up for the decreased power. Works good and takes up very little counter space. I saved quite a bit by ordering the “used” version which looks brand new to me. I feel that I did well with this deal and am happy with my new microwave.

Great Small Microwave that doesn't Beep. A little Loud when running.
We just got our microwave yesterday. I will update if we have any problems with it in the future. The annoying Beeping can be silenced and once silenced it doesn't make a single beep. This is GREAT.It is a small microwave with a maximized interior space. I don't understand some of the answers in questions on this product. I have plates that measure 10.25" diameter (Round) and they fit in this microwave just fine. The interior is very similar to our last small microwave, but the exterior is smaller, which is great. It is good for small spaces. Unlike many other small microwaves, it does not require 12" of clearance above the microwave, so you can set it on a counter underneath a cabinet, or mount it to the cabinet. We set ours on the counter. It requires 1" clearance in the back and 3" clearance on either side.It has an incandescent bulb inside, which is good for light sensitive people, and green LED numbers on the front. The numbers do flash if you open the door before the cycle is complete and they continue to flash.I am noise sensitive, so maybe most people won't notice, but this microwave is significantly louder while running than our last microwave. In my book, the lack of beeping and the counter space more than make up for that though.Overall we are really happy with our new microwave.

Worked for little over 1.5 yrs then started sparking and popping - READ OTHER REVIEWS ALSO
This unit appeared to be very nice for a little over 1.5 years. However, one day a muffin in a paper towel (no, a metal wrapper wasn't used to cook the muffin in) was placed into the microwave to be warmed up. The unit started making popping sounds and had jolts of electricity passing through it. Unknowingly, another member of the house used the microwave shortly after and the unit made the same sounds. There is not a burn on the inside of the unit. I would put up a video, but the unit is clearly a safety risk, so it will remain unplugged. I love all of my other GE appliances, and hopefully GE will help to fix the situation. After looking at more reviews, I can see I am not the first one to have this issue. I have not been able to find any warranty information on the product.

Very good, but far from perfect. . .
It has been hard to find a white replacement for my 20-year-old Whirlpool 700 watt microwave. I finally settled on this one. I'm mostly happy with it. I have it on my countertop, and the depth was critical. It fits everything I need it to fit, and I like the controls a lot. The time everything takes to cook is identical with my old beloved Whirlpool. There are three things I really dislike--I have to remove the round glass piece and dry the entire interior because of condensation with every use, I don't like how the round glass piece has to be fiddled with to sit above the roller piece, and I don't like the awkward location of the door release. In spite of the negatives, I would buy it again because I shopped it hard and know the poor alternatives. Based on some of the other reviews, I bought the warranty, which I almost never do.

Good bargain
It came from the warehouse in great condition and met our need. It is small .. fits perfectly on a small counter, but gets the job done. For the price and convenience of delivery we were very happy. The returned items from the warehouse are often good deals. We are still watching a television my son bought there for us almost 10 years ago.

Interior paint is delaminating
This GE microwave (our 3rd) replaced a 10-year-old model that was larger. This one has worked fine for nearly 3 years until I noticed the paint completely delaminating under the turntable rollers. This seems like a workmanship or paint formulation issue. I expected better longevity - 6 years maybe?

Good not the best
It’s a small microwave so you can’t expect a whole lot BUT the size is perfect. I built in a cabinet set since we placed a hood over the oven and I didn’t want a huge microwave so initially bought one of these. It lasted about 2 years before the inside started cracking .Pros :Size works for costum built cabinetsConsWon’t last more than a year or twoIt’s fairly low output so don’t expect quick reheats

Definitely not top of the line!
I bought this microwave in November 2024, because I have a small area cabinet I wanted it to fit in. Right from the getgo, when the microwave starts up, it sounds like the motor is straining to be on...so be it. Then, for the past month, when heating anything, I think the weight of the plate, container, etc. is causing the class underliner plate to really struggle. There is a popping sound like "popcorn" continuously. I took out the glass plate, and removed the small center plastic piece holding the plate up. Microwave sounds normal now, but there is no turning mechanism, and plates are not stable. Do your microwave homework before you purchase this machine. The last GE Microwave we had lasted 17 years!
