Excellent date/time/temp alarm clock for the price!
I bought the white/green version. FYI: the buttons are closer to a sage green than mint green. This little clock is exactly what I needed: a simple small, lightweight alarm clock for travel or as a second alarm for painfully early mornings in the winter. It's rugged enough, but note that the body is plastic. The cover is snug, protecting the buttons from accidental pressure in luggage. The controls were very intuitive, but it comes with a manual in case you need pointers. Extra points for the date.

Excellent Travel Alarm Clock
MeesMeek LCD Travel Alarm Clock ReviewHIGHTLIGHTSNice, easy-read LCD display with backlight (two brightness levels).Compact size, just slightly larger than a dollar bill folded in half and a little thicker than a smartphone.Nice build quality – the clock is not flimsy and the buttons depress well with a nice “click” to them. The hard plastic cover protects the display when closed and easily rotates to be the stand for the clock. The inside cover has a World Time Table.Time and Alarm setting is easy to set and there are separate buttons to advance and reverse the time.Alarm has two sound level settings. Both are beep, beep, beep sound and neither is super loud. One is noticeably louder than the other. The softer sound setting is not jarring but is louder than a digital watch alarm and both would wake, in my opinion, all but the heaviest of sleepers.Powered by AAA batteries (I prefer making replacing easy and inexpensive). Two alkaline (not heavy duty) batteries are included (a nice touch). The clock appears to keep good time (although I’ve only had the clock for about a week.)The instructions explain the clock operation well although the texts is fairly small.WEEKEND SETTINGIf the alarm is set to WEEKEND, the alarm will only sound during the week, NOT on Saturday or Sunday. This setting can be activated by pressing the third button from the left (looks like a notepad or calendar to me) after the alarm is enabled.DISPLAY COMMENTSDisplay includes the time, day of the week, alarm status and alarm time, month/day, and room temperature.Large LCD display for the time.White backlight is illuminated by pressing any of the buttons. There are two brightness levels that can be selected by a toggle switch on the right side of the clock.Low battery indicator. Will display time in either 12 or 24-hour format. When the alarm is set. The status of the alarm is continuously displayed in the upper right corner of the display. If the alarm is set, the time with alarm will sound is displayed. If the alarm is off, the word “OFF” is displayed. Makes it really easy to know when the alarm will ring. The clock displays the month and date and the room temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Accuracy is good and within one or two degrees of other thermometers I have.

Nice little alarm clock
Slim design and the perfect size for my small bedside table. Crystal clear display and very easy to set and use. Also comes with batteries and seems to keep accurate time so far. I knocked a star off the rating because the temperature feature seems to only show the room temp instead of the actual outdoor temp and the volume choices are too limited but, otherwise, it's a nice clock.

The best directions of all the clocks I've purchased.
I like everything about this alarm clock. I want to thank the company for having excellent directions on how to set it up. I've bought numerous clocks this year that have all these functions, varying in size for a family member that has a memory problems and this one was very user friendly. This is specifically for travel. It closes nicely, like a book. The backlight has a high/low option. The low was plenty loud. The alarm has a weekend option, so no need to reset. The ONLY thing that I wish they'd fix is the backlight. I thought it would have a low level backlight on all the time, which it doesn't. There's a button that you have to press to light it up for about 5 seconds. Other than that, it's perfect. Also, it has a world time table on the inside cover and the email address if you need tech support.

Easy set-up and use
I was a bit surprised about how easy this alarm clock was to set, use, and operate. In fact, after the initial set up, the batteries fell out (user error) and I had to reset everything. The second time I needed no instructions.I love the volume control on the alarm tone and the large numbers. The whole unit, though larger than my 20+ year old travel alarm, still fits in my valet and is the perfect replacement (especially since I'm 20+ years older myself).

Good, but...
I bought three of these alarm clocks. One for each daughter and one for me. The good part was they were very easy to set and understand. I also liked that there was a switch to adjust the brightness on the clock and that it didn't stay constantly lit. Now, unfortunately, the bad parts. First, all the buttons are completely smooth and flat. This makes is difficult to find them in the dark, and since the Snooze button is also smooth and flat and located alongside the others, you must blindly try to feel for it when turning off the alarm or to read the time. It would be better if this button was at least raised or on the top. Second, if you want to turn off the alarm, you need to try to find that button which is not easy in the dark (a problem if there's someone else in the room and you don't want to wake them with light). Pressing the snooze button doesn't light up the display enough to show you the other buttons, either. Finally, whenever you change the time for the alarm, it goes through the process of having you pick the alarm volume. This isn't a problem unless you are trying to change it when someone has already went to bed and is asleep - as the alarm goes off with a single beep. Overall, the cons outweighed the pros and all 3 alarms were sent back as none of us liked the hard-to-identify buttons!
