Love Garro character!
This is a great wrap up to Garro’s involvement in the siege of Terra. Lots of added character, development, and insight to what makes him tick and his relation to his legion and Primarch. Awesome read!

A Great Addition to the Horus Heresy Series
As a fan of the Horus Heresy series, I was excited to read "Garro: Knight of the Grey," which follows the story of Nathaniel Garro, a loyalist Space Marine who defects from the traitor Legions and becomes a founding member of the Knights Errant.Overall, I found the book to be a great addition to the series. The writing was strong and the story was engaging, with plenty of action and intrigue to keep me interested. The character of Garro is particularly well-drawn, with a complex backstory and a strong sense of honor and duty that makes him a compelling protagonist. One thing I appreciated about the book was its exploration of some of the themes that have been central to the Horus Heresy series as a whole, such as loyalty, betrayal, and the nature of power. The book also does a good job of tying in with some of the other books and characters in the series, which helped to give it a greater sense of coherence and continuity. The only reason I didn't give the book a full 5 stars is because there were a few instances where the pacing felt a bit slow, particularly in the early parts of the book. Additionally, some of the supporting characters felt a bit underdeveloped, which made it difficult to fully invest in their fates.Overall, I would definitely recommend "Garro: Knight of the Grey" to fans of the Horus Heresy series, as well as to anyone looking for a well-written and engaging science fiction novel.

Knew It!
I’ve love the pre HH Death Guard because I always felt they were by design or destiny doom to fall, as with the Thousands Sons. I hope the next series is the Unification War seeing the early Dusk Raiders or War Hounds fighting on Terra then the early wars of Luna and crusades would be GREAT! Still choices were made but Battle Captain Garro and the seventy remained loyal. Garro quickly became one of my favorite characters in all the HH and Siege of Terra series. James Swallow with this well written story defines a real hero, I found myself wishing and waiting for that superhero/Rocky montage but knew it was not coming this is not that type of hero story. My old negative is the Price$$$$$$ OMG was the ink mixed with virgin blood or something WTF But that is not the Author’s fault just the corp who owns Games Workshop, Warhammer etc..

Garro: Knight of All
There are no words to describe the beauty and horror of this novella. Read it, enjoy it, cry with it, and see the horror and greatness the human spirit can be.Garro is the knight that always put others above himself, the shining knight that makes the heresy the tragedy it is. Thank you, James Swallow.

Terrific story about the Knight Errant... Horribly overpriced...
Flight of the Einstein crystalized the HH as "must read" material and ever since I've been fondly following Nathaniel "Straight Arrow" Garro...This is only a small snippet of the Siege of Terra but we do get to follow Garro and his kinsman (both erstwhile Death Guard) as they meander about the battlefield that was the Imperial Palace's outer regions...Buy it for Garro but damn that price...
