MagFlex® A4 Flexible Matt Red Magnetic Sheet for Creating Magnetic Artwork, Signs or Displays

The product works really well, but don't make the same mistake as us - we printed images on sticky paper, put the sticky paper on the magnet sheet and then cut it out. But what we didn't realise, was that both sides of the magnet sheet are not created equal. Test your magnet first to find the magnetic side. One side is really strong and what you'd expect. The other side is still magnetic, but very weak and will slide down the surface - even with something as light as paper stuck to it. Imagine if you put a heavier material on it like felt!I think this is the issue that other reviewers have had. But I feel pretty confident it's just being used on the wrong side.

As per another review, Make sure you use the correct magnetic side! 100% if you use the wrong side it will slide…so test first! It is brilliant & strong when the correct side is used

Bought this to hold Warhammer miniatures, using two 5mm x 2mm neodymium magnets on the bases that hold extremely well on surfaces. Barely held and slid right off on both sides (since some reviews mentioned one side is grippier than the other). I thought it was the magnets but the models gripped to every other magnetic surface extremely strongly.Product isn't fit for purpose and should be avoided. Useless.

The red surface is PVC and non-magnetic. The dark-side is the magnetic side. The sheet can easily be cut using a sharp-knife or scissors. Alternatively, after scoring through the coloured side it can be torn apart by hand. The sheets stick well to a magnetic whiteboard or to the sides of a steel filing cabinet.The red surface can be written on with a marker pen or with a white-board "wipe-off" pen, and if a "wipe-off" pen is used the ink can, indeed, be wiped off the magnetic sheet. The red is quite dark so blue or black in will most likely be needed.The sheets are sufficiently flexible that they could be wrapped around a cylinder that had a diameter of about two inches. You'll only get the sheet to bend in along one axis so you couldn't wrap the sheet around a sphere or have it cling neatly to an undulating surface.I used the sheets to make representations of furniture at 1:20 scale and, having drawn an outline of the room on a magnetic whiteboard, was able to quickly try out different furniture arrangements. This method was much better than using cardboard representations because the "furniture" stayed where it was put and the floor-plan could be mounted vertically on the wall rather than having to lay it out flat on a table. Using magnetic sheet was probably faster and simpler than doing the floor plans with computer drafting software.

I bought this to use as a backing to a noteboard. I wanted to put this sheet behind a very thin layer of felt and be able to stick magnets to it to hang notes etc.The magnets do not stick well to this and just slide down. As a result I am unable to use it to hang notes. I do not recommend this item if you want to stick magnetic things to it.However, the sheet itself sticks well to the fridge and I imagine if you wanted to make magnets out of this sheet, or just stick the whole thing onto a fridge and use it as a wipe clean notepad then it would perform that function well.I hope the above helps some people and clears up what this item is actually good for. I feel the description and advert for this item could be clearer in explaining this.

Not strong enough for bug magnets

came quickly which was good but there's practically no magnetism at all, would hold almost nothing to a fridge for example

Thick sheet that resists bends. Good for projects especially for just a few dollars. I got a special sticker on my last visit to Hawaii and didn't want to permanently stick it anywhere, so I stuck it to this sheet and trimmed it out with normal scissors. Turned out great.

Avec du sotch double face extra fort 3M acheté séparement, le grand tableau Displate qui n'a jamais tenu sur mon mur avec ses 2 aimants d'origine est parfaitement fixé. Très satisfait de ce produit.

Bello,servizio puntuale come al solito. Unico problema: non può essere usato come "lavagna magnetica" non tiene nessun tipo di magnete ha una carica molto leggera.
