Great Remote for the Lazy Person!!
Love this Roku Remote very Much!I just tell it what I want to watch, if I already know? It goes right to the several many streaming channels you ask?You can just say your password into it, or your email address instead of all the typing if you have to sign into accounts.Love it, so hard to go to another room that I don’t have it in?

Exact replacement for Roku voice actuated systems
If you have a TV with Roku voiced activated smarl feature, then this type of remote is essential to replace or subliment the one that came with the unit. The remote is easy to "pair" with the TV and functions just like the original except it uses AAA batteries whereas the original used AA.

Easy set up
This is a direct replacement for the original Roku Express remote. It is very easy to connect to the device with 3 clicks. My Mother In Law did it herself. It works very well. However, for $10 more you can just get a new Roku Express.

Compatible with Roku stick, which is confusing if you read through the negative reviews. Setup could not be simpler, you unplug the stick for 20 seconds, pull the strip off the remote while on the TV menu screen, it pairs instantly and voila! Ten stars for simplicity.

Repeat issues with this remote
Bought in August 2024 to replace an existing remote that suddenly stopped working and it didn't last 9 months before it suddenly stopped working again. No lights on the remote with known working batteries. Remote is great.. when it works.

So… you bought the roku for your tv, but you have lost control of the remote because your partner has it now.Take back control, get one for yourself. Do you really want to keep watching that documentary on French tanks after they’ve fallen asleep? Of course not. You want to watch that part where Colin Firth climbs out of the pond soaking wet.
