Magnets would be great if they had been stronger

There are no instructions in the box. which is a disappointment as I bought a second one to give as a gift. It is straightforward to install and use though. I found the plug into the cigarette light port a bit tight but then you don't want it coming out when you are on the move and the on / off switch is pretty obvious. The second switch is to go through the various flashing modes. The rubber suction pads are there to protect your paintwork from the magnets that fasten the unit to your vehicle and I had a struggle removing the unit once I had done with it. I would recommend moistening the pads for suction as well as having the magnets hold them only because some reviewers have reported that they did not think that they held on very well. This was not my experience. I did not try using it at high speeds though, this is for cruising around a works site, not down the motorway at high speeds. There is a blue version - this would be illegal in the UK unless you are a member of the emergency services or you could use it on private property.

Works as expected but have to keep refitting the rubber over the magnets when taking off the car.

Came away from my roof and scratched my car badly. Magnets not so strong as my old Hazard Beacon.

Really nice light, actually surprised at how good the quality of this was for the price.The plastic casing is good quality, and moulded, well, and the magnets and rubber feet on the bottom are very good quality as well. Magnets are a decent strength, and don’t feel like they’re gonna fly off. And the cable itself is decent quality, as well as the plug with nice switches on the end.Only thing that could be made a bit better is the cable could be a little bit longer as it is a little bit of a stretch to place it in a way that is not in your way.Light itself is very bright, and easily visible at nightAll in all, very good quality, quality and price so happy to recommend
