I bought this for my two kids, I think the older version has some issues with getting signal at his college for one of them. This new version seems to be working at his college now. The second one is for my daughter at home...she doesn't seems to have any issues with this cellular phone. Definitely works with Mint Mobile

I was unfortunate enough to find this later on various Reddit forums that xiaomi phones are horrible at picking up USA networks. I recommended this phone to one gentleman who was previously using a Samsung phone. Right after he switched he barely got any signal on xiaomi with the same mobile company. He then switched back to Samsung again and he had no issue with signal.I personally experience the same thing the whole time I was using the phone with T-Mobile and later on mint mobile. Outside the radius of the biggest city it is horrible at picking up any other signal. I didn't even realize it until I switched and tried other phones.Few weeks ago it stopped picking up pretty much all the signals in St Louis for mint mobile for me. I've been going back and forth with mid mobile to figure out what is wrong with their service or with my phone. They're telling me that on their end they're seeing that this phone is locked. I don't know how that is possible since I bought this phone from these guys here, this is supposed to be unlocked???So the phone is basically brick now

Estuve usando el telefono por 3 semanas solo con internet de mi casa para saber su rendimiento, cuando por fin me cambie de compañia para poder utilizarlo, este pedazo de basura no funciono, no lee la tarjeta sim y ahora me quedado sin linea para usar en mi otro telefono! Por cierto la bateria se consume muy rapido aun sin usarlo no dura mas de 3 dias cargado.

This is not an official global device. It should have a 200 MP camera and it only has a 50mp main camera. I checked it on the official website and that's where I found out. When I reached out to the seller, they had no comment. DO NOT BUY! 🤬
