This item is poorest quality. When you hang it on back mirror, it doesn’t stay as you set. It moves even as car turns since you can’t tighten it stable. I just threw it away in the garbage box.

A little difficult to secure to the mirror. But getting it in and out of the phone holder, very difficult! You'll need a third arm and prybar

Overall I am pleased with this mount. I used to for a couple of very long road trips across the country and it performed well. The top section came off and I had to do a repair, but overall it is a good mount. I would not recommend hanging it from the review mirror, but I have found other ways to mount it so the phone was able to be seen and remain charged. One of the best phone mounts I have ever purchased.

Bought this cause I have been trying to find something other than the suction cup holders for phones that go on the dash. Came across this and thought it would be grate given the high ratings, however when I went to set it up, it was hard to pry open the prongs and set my phone inside of them, it was great that it was nice and sung but then when I went to hang it on my mirror as shown in the image, I tried to tighten the back and it just kept popping out and everything would fall to the floor so I gave up. Thought about gluing that piece in but wasn't sure it would still function unless that piece could move so unfortunately 1 star for me. Hopefully it was just a malfunction with mine and everyone else got theirs to work!

This is the 2nd one I have tried. I thought the first one was bad so call me stupid i got a second one to see if they are really that bad and yeap, they are that bad.Will not lock on mirror regardless of what I try. Especially when you have to turn the top at an angle to try to get the phone facing you. The whole thing turns off the mirror. If you are lucky it might work for you.

For what it costs, this phone mounting device works well. It's easy to install, holds the phone securely and unlike those devices that use a suction cup, it doesn't fall down. It is not rigid, so the phone moves around a little, but not enough to be an issue.
