Where has this been all my life?I'm pretty old school and have been using the glass thermometer with Mercury forever!THIS is a game changer. We opened the box, put in batteries, turned it on and placed it against my forehead and and I had my temp in seconds. So fast - easy plug and play.My resting temp is usually low and it was pretty accurate! My husbands is typically 98.6 on the money and it was accurate as well! We compared with the mercury and they both were the same.The app is pretty cool as well if you want to keep records. It connects via bluetooth through your phone and has other great features for steps, heart rate, and other health and fitness tracking.Especially in this day in age and with everything going on, you want this. You need this. 5 seconds of your day to be sure your temp isn't elevated.I can't think of a better and more timely product. I'm really glad I purchased this one.

My sister bought a forehead thermometer for her children, I found it is much easier for people with ears, so I checked it and found that there is a 10% coupon and a beautiful shape, so I understand . Another thing I found useful is that when I use it at night while my child is sleeping, the LED display can show the numbers very clearly. I don’t have to worry about waking them up. My little child has had a fever since last Thursday. This is what happened in the world two days ago. I bought this thermometer so I could track my temperature for my medical team, excited that it had an app I purchased it after reading the reviews. Having been an EMT-i I am familiar with medical equipment. It did not matter what I did, how I held the device, it would not read my temperature. I also was under the impression that it was forehead and ear but it was forehead only. Finding the app was a PITA joke, the instruction book had no information on the website to go to. I had to come back here to get the site. The site was in Chinese, the app download on my phone was troublesome because it's not a play store app. Opening the app it would not scroll down far enough so I could click where it said "okay" for the terms of service so I couldn't even get in to see what the app looked like. After about 45 minutes of trying to get it to take my temperature, getting the app address, and getting the app to work to see if that would get me a temperature reading. I boxed it up and started the return process. My surgeons nurse got me a thermometer for my birthday that works lol not this one. If you want aggravation, a trip to the UPS store and a delay in getting money back this thermometer is exactly right for you.

I just got this yesterday, so experience with it is still a little new, but my experience with different thermometers is not. I’m a physician with regular exposure to patients during the pandemic. I’ve been using a temporal thermometer to check my temperature at work, but wanted something for home. I liked that this had the no-touch option so I could use it at work for patients without having to thoroughly sterilize it after every patient. Testing it against the temporal thermometer, it seems accurate with a few caveats.I know myself after months of checking my temperature - I personally lose a lot of heat through my forehead, so my most accurate temperatures with temporal thermometers tend to be on the side of my forehead near the hairline (where the temporal artery runs straight down and you’re more likely to “hit” it with the probe) and, if I’m trending toward a fever, behind my ear because heat evaporates from my forehead FAST. Knowing this, I tested this against the temporal thermometer and found the readings in those places seemed to be pretty comparable. For me, the middle of the forehead is inaccurate. In regards to the no-touch option, temperatures seem to be reading about a half degree to a degree lower. In the photos, my temperate with the touch option is around 98.3( hairline) - 98.7 (behind ear). Middle of my forehead (touch) was 97.1 and the no touch along the hairline was 97.8.I had my staff all try to compare and that seems to be the consensus. They don’t have the same forehead evaporation issues, so middle of the forehead and hairline were similar for them, with no touch reading 0.5-1 degrees lower than touch option. I’ll let them use it for patients, knowing that if it reads 99 or higher with the no-touch method we should probably double check with our temporal thermometer.My best advice is to play around with it and see how your particular device runs and know what is normal for you, following trends rather than absolute numbers. The number 100.4 is thrown around a lot in these pandemic times, but if your thermometer is consistently reading 97.5 and one day it goes up to 99.5, it’s worth paying attention to. Be aware of your environment and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to re-calibrate the sensor if readings seem to be off.If anything changes with continued use, I will update my review. I love the app, because I personally have some temperature regulation issues, so it will help me track what is going on without analyzing pages of hand-written notes. Quick and easy-peasy!

It appears to bell made and pretty accurate so far. I like the design as it is compact and that it takes 2-AAA batteries. That means no recharging and no worries if I were to put it in check-in luggage (probably never will as it would probably get stolen). While it has a smart application feature I have chosen to use it as a standalone thermometer.Really easy to use and have been using it for awhile. I usually check my temperature in the morning and evening. Happy with the purchases versus using the under tongue designed ones which usually when I need it the battery has died.

I bought this in October for 2021. The reason why I bought was due to the fact my 2 year old goblin refused to have her temperature taken. The reviews were amazing and I couldn't pass it up for the price.Set up was a breeze. All it took was down loading the app and adding everyone that would be using it. For a few weeks it worked amazing. Now it says we all have 96.1 to 96.7 even though my daughter was running a 102.3 fever. I ended up taking it with us to have it checked with her Dr's thermometer since I felt like we weren't getting accurate readings. So right in front of the Dr I took her temperature it was 96.1, but her Dr's said 102.3.

Works really well and is very easy to use. Can be used as a standalone device or if you want to keep a log of your temperatures you can install the app and it will connect via Bluetooth. I like the large display and it is easy to read, the only time the display was too bright was taking my sons temperature while he was asleep.
