Great for small jobs
Works great. I have a lot of wild honeysuckle bushes and I tried to cut them with a pole saw-that was too cumbersome because they aren’t that tall. I don’t trust myself with a full size chainsaw. I got so much done in a short amount of time. The chain came off a few times but well worth it for the price.

Gets the job done
I wanted a ‘girly’ chainsaw. Nothing too big or clunky or heavy. This fit the bill. I really like it. I have some invasive tough weeds that grow 8 ft tall that I have to constantly cut back. I also trim my cherry, oak, and smoke tree with this chainsaw. My only complaint would be the button is in the left side and I am a righty so it takes some coordination to get it started

Works very well. But the chain constantly comes loose.
Great mini chainsaw. Surprising amount of power for a tiny tool. Easily cuts 2 and 3 inch diameter branches. Very quiet. Completely compatible with Makita batteries. As other reviewers mentioned the chain constantly comes loose, and is very annoying to re-tighten so often. The tiny little screwdriver is nearly impossible to use to tighten the chain. The Phillips head is very small. A right angle screwdriver would work much better, but you have to press hard to turn the screw. Now, I'm not sure if the chain is coming loose or just stretching, very hard to tell the difference. No oiler, so you have to keep the chain manually lubed. A true one handed wonder. Now if they could only keep the chain tight.

You get what you pay for
Disappointed. Purchased to trim dead branches on my pine trees. It worked well for a short time but the chain keeps binding and can’t be easily adjusted. It came with a second chain but the rest of the saw is cheaply made and already bent. On the plus side, it worked great with my Makita batteries, the rest is just junk.

An amazing little saw for the money.
This little guy did am amazing job on a bunch of 4-8 inch maple that I needed to trim down for wood for the fire pit. The battery life is really good, depending on your batteries, I have original Makita 4.0s and it lasted a good bit longer than I ever would have thought. The only downside is no oiler, so keep a small bottle with you and hit it every now and then. Blade was nice and sharp from the box, made easy work of branches. Will it do a mature tree, no, but its not designed to. I'm ordering one for each of my kids now that they are now homeowners, and one for my in-laws. Yep, I think its that good.

Save time on yard maintenance
Great tool for trimming around house , easy to use and if you need to change out the chain and adjust it’s simple to do.

worth the money
what a great little saw right out of the box, I use a wood stove to heat my house, and I use pallets whenever possible, they are always made with some type of kiln-dried materials, from pine to white oak, have been using a chain saw, but they take two hands, with this tool, you can easily hold or balance something with one hand while cutting with this tool in the other. I put one of my 5.0 Amh batteries in and plowed through 10 6-foot pallets, the battery still had 2 bars. if this is all I ever use it for it will have been worth the price. Shipped fast and had it in 4-5 days. being able to use the batteries from my many Makita 18volt tools, is what makes the whole thing an even better deal. the one drawback is the wing nut that holds the bar, and keeps the chain tight, is not big enough, to keep the bar from slipping. I solved that by getting a big barbed washer and putting it on in front of the wing nut. other than that, a must-have for anyone committed to the Makita 18-volt platform of tools.

Chain comes off easily
When it works it's fantastic, but the chain often comes off the bar. There is slightly hidden tension screw that is kinda hard to turn, but does reduce chain slack. I also learned not to put too much or too little pressure on during the cut. I would still buy again as it's an inexpensive tool that does cut well and is compact enough to carry in the car. I just wish the chain would stay on the bar.

very bad built the nut is unable to fasten. Just rotating

Es muy ligera y por lo mismo fácil de maniobrar por lo que permite podar ramas de los árboles con una sola mano y por lo mismo con mayor seguridad.
