Great Alternative
This Sevkumz Kinect adapter is useful for legacy devices, as Kinect for Xbox has been discontinued by Microsoft. I do still have my Kinect sensor, and find that this adapter has made it easier for me to use and using it on my Xbox One. It's conveniently portable and lets me use my entertainment system more comfortably with my family. It's pretty good quality for a non-branded product, and I'd recommend.

Rubbish
Came with a travel plug instead of a normal one, plugged it in and it blew my computer power supply. Absolute rubbish don't buy if you want to keep your PC ...no compensation joy from Amazon and no response from this seller.. informed trading standards. This is my second review..first one wasn't allowed...

Perfect Adapter
Great! Giving my old Kinect a new life.It took some Googling and fiddling to get it working on my Windows 11 PC.Follow the instructions enclosed -The 1st time I opened the SDK I was presented with the option "Kinect Configuration Verifier" and I ran it. then the option at the bottom "Verify Kinect Depth and Color Streams" Hazard symbol turned into a green tick.Once all was installed, I headed to "Device Manager" on the PC and looked for the Kinect to see if the PC could see it (See my pictures).You then need a good light to light the subject and off you go with Microsoft's "3D Scan". When you get the subject's 3D image it will ask you which program you wish to use. This is up to you. There are lots of free applications you can use. I have a Prusa 3D Printer, so I use "PrusaSlicer" for this.I had fun today with it and there is a respectful amount of cable length helping you when scanning.5*****Great Value for money, especially since Microsoft discontinued the official product just as 3D Scanning started to become available to the general public!
