Great Game for All Ages!
I'm an avid plant lover, and I received this game as a Christmas gift. I absolutely love to play it with my family of all different ages. At first, it looked a little childish, but once my family and I played, it actually turned out to be such a great game. The instructions were really user-friendly and fun to follow. The boards are well made, and the little plastic and wood pieces are pretty durable. (We have dropped them a few times). It comes with a score card pad too that is aptly themed as well as little bags for all of the little pieces. The box is an average size for a board game and fits all the components of the game in it even after taking it out of the manufacturers packaging. When playing, a fair amount of space is best which will depend on how many people are playing. We find that the dining room table edge is typically sufficient for 2-3 people. Depending on the level of conversation and the number of people, the game takes approximately 30-45 minutes with setup and take down. The artwork included is beautiful too. All of the plant cards are well designed as well as all of the boards. The plants are also very inclusive so you may be able to find some of the houseplants you already own (if you own any :)). They are primarily houseplants though.

Fun, low-key, and the game pieces are amazing
This game is so much fun! It requires some strategy but isn’t stressful or intense. You can just play and chat. The pieces are so adorable and perfect for people who love pretty things and are tactile. Honestly, they are probably what makes it the most fun. The game is very high quality, making it well-worth the price. We have played it several times and it’s just as fun every time. It’s definitely my new favorite game.

Fun and Pretty Game.
Note that my high rating is partially due to getting this game at Christmastime for only $7.50. At that price it is a steal and WELL worth it! Game is fun, with just the right amount of strategy. The components are excellent for the cost. Fairly easy to teach to new gamers.

An absolute favorite!
Great for our plant-loving family of a range of ages! The young ones (ages 7 and 9) picked this game up the first go around (they likened it to Sushi Go meets Wingspan). The cards are interesting to plant lovers - I find myself owning most of the plants and pining for the few I don't have. But the game also appeals to those who don't love plants and just enjoy a good game. The tokens (sun, water, plant food, etc) are well made and a delight to pick up and play on your board. Each game feels new depending on the plants you get and the tools or resources you acquire. I love that you can play with different strategies for winning but you don't quite know who has the most points until the end. I also like that you can play a game in 30-40 minutes if you don't have a ton of time or if attention spans are short. My only qualm is that they have accounted for the fact that you might run out of tokens (sun, water, plant food etc), so you have an area where 1 token can represent 4 tokens...why not just make enough tokens so that you don't run out? Seems like a cheap move. But overall this is certainly a favorite in our home and a favorite to gift to other families!

Really fun game, especially for plant lovers
I have been waiting to play this game for a while. I was a little worried it might be a little contrived, but it absolutely lives up to my best expectations. I love the little game pieces, which I think are much better than they need to be at this price point, which is great added value. The game is fun to play and it's pretty quick. You build your garden and tend to it in 4 rounds. It does have some strategy, but nothing too difficult. Great artwork, sturdy boards, lovely pieces!

7 wonders...but better?
Plants. Plants galore! This game is SO MUCH FUN. you're goal is to be the best "plant mother/father" you can be and show the rest of the table that they're stupid little baby plants got nothing on you. You ACTUALLY care for your plants and in turn. they care for you. With Points! Dont get too cocky though, this is a strategy game through and through. With each passing play of the game you start to wonder "do I have TOO many plants" whilst an angle and devil sit on your shoulder. The angle cautiously warns you that youre doing good where youre at now. The devil screams with a megaphone "More....MORE!" and in the end you grab another plant. What could it hurt? Its incredibly easy to learn. The game is one of the most beautiful games i have played. From the artwork down to the resource pieces. I was hooked just by unboxing it. We got it christmas and we have played it 14 times already. It plays a lot like 7 WONDERS. But does it in the most efficient way possible. Gameplay you're looking at 30-40 for the FIRST GAME but once you know that drops to 15-20min You'll want to get this game

Excellent short game (20-30 mins) that mixes the mechanics of wingspan and Sushi-Go games
The goal in this (upto 5 players) game is to check out plant cards (max 6 per player) and collect appropriate resources to grow those plants over four rounds. Each player board (say garden/nursery) starts with a beginner plant and in each of the four rounds, players are dealt 6 resource cards (water, fertilizer, sunlight, or green thumb) and 2 tools/decorations cards. You choose a card to play and pass the remaining ones to the next player. All players then play the chosen card (to collect resources, checkout a new plant card or add a tool/decoration to your player board. With 8 turns in each round, you choose resources/tools/decors depending on what your plant(s) needs or what additional capabilities those tools/decors can give you. After four rounds of play, each plant is scored depending on completeness and decors give points for specific types of plants collected (e.g. each hanging pot decor card gives you an extra point for each hanging plant you have). Since your board can only hold 6 plants you have to be careful in choosing them. As you can imagine, one can strategize to collect one type of plants and collect the relevant decor to score additional points or collect plants that needs multiple resources but give you more points. It's a neat game. We really enjoyed playing it. Some house rules to consider: (1) some tools/decors might be pretty much useless in the last round. Consider a house rule where you have the option to exchange them for a green thumb during one's turn; (2) Only four plants cards are open to choose from and get replaced when someone chooses them or at the start of each round. Sometimes the plant card choices may not be that great. Consider a house rule where one can pay a resource/token to wipe out/replace a particular plant card.
