I purchased and installed an Olumat smart door lock and it works great, but my door lock kit did not include the wifi gateway or a door lock sensor. These are needed to fully utilize all of the Olumat smart door lock’s features & capabilities.I purchased this wifi gateway & it paired up (via Bluetooth) with my smart lock, as well as connected to my house’s wifi network.I bought the door sensor from another Amazon seller, since Amazon’s Olumat Store does not offer the door sensor individually. Olumat customer support pointed me to a door sensor that’s compatible with the system.

That’s the message I get somewhere between 30-50% of the time. When the gateway is online and working, it’s great! Being able to unlock the door from across town when the kid forgets their code is wonderful!However, it’s very frustrating to constantly get the “gateway is offline” message. The only way I could get this thing closer to the lock and the Wi-Fi tower would be to mount both on the door…I currently have them 5ft apart as troubleshooting measure…doesn’t seem to be resolving the issue.Functionality? 60% of the time it works every time.Easy to setup (hint, remove batteries on door lock and reinstall for easier and quicker pairing).At this point I would not recommend the wireless version until they fix the offline bug.No batteries required, but you need a nearby outlet..
