Bought this for a work trip in Texas where I knew my hair would be up every day. This hat was outstanding.Withstood the heat and wind of the Texas desert, didn't retain the heat, and let me put my ponytail anywhere on the back of my head (no top bun easily). It's dries fast and is easy to clean with a damp cloth or paper towel.

I’m normally not a hat person because I don’t wear my hair down often and I don’t like wearing my hair in a ponytail or bun that low so when I saw this I was like this is perfect I can still wear my messy bun on the top of my head and keep the sun off my face. The only thing is if you have a small head then you won’t have a lot of velcro to secure it

I have it cinched as tight as it will go but still a little big. Fortunately, my hair being in a pony through the hole in the back helps hold it in place when riding in our Bronco with the top off. Also wish it had a way to tuck in the excess Velcro strap when it is pulled tight.

This was actually trash. The hat itself is huge and didn’t get tight enough to fit my head properly. It’s very thin, which some people may enjoy for the beach, but chlorine bleaches the color.

Hat is super light and comfortable.

I am typically picky with my hats (e.g. not all adidas hats fit well) but I will be wearing this one often. It does need to be steamed to remove wrinkles but it is a great water resistant hat and my pony sits up high! I can also see it being lightweight enough for hot weather. Highly recommend.
