Dynamic Scan Start Up Hood Light Strip

These lights look great on my truck. I've had them installed for about 3-4 months now and they haven't faltered. For the low price, I kind of expected to need to replace them but I have not as of yet (knock on wood!) Would buy them again even if a strand failed me. The app is intuitive, connects easily to the lights and controls them as expected. I think they are a great value for the money. Super easy to install. The adhesive seems strong. Only issue I've seen is around corners of my grill where there really isn't anything to really stick to. These aren't quite as bendy as I'd like but even with that said, where the corners turn and aren't really stuck, the rest if the strand is solid so I don't fear anything happening to them and I commute an hour every day. I get tons of compliments about the lights and they are bright enough that you could have them on in the daytime and they could be seen.

Follow the instructions for the correct fuse to wire into and you're golden. May have to run wires into thw cabin fuse box, just a heads up you wont have enough wire for that so I had to use my own and route it to the cabin.

Bright light

I have a 2019 toyota highlander and I bought these lights for it to make it a bit nicer. I had tried installing them 2 different ways and no luck. I only want them on when I use my headlights. So I hooked them up to the headlight fuse and they wouldn't power on once I turned on the headlights but if I turned the headlights off then they would work. Then I tried connecting it to the acc as stated they power on when this started and powers off but why make it to stay on during the day when you can't even really see them. It doesn't make sense because using them during the day just wasting the light. So now I installed them idk what to do because I idk if I can connect the power to the power wire on the headlight or spend 75 dollars for someone to install a switch to power them at night because it's really not worth it especially when i don't have that kind of money to throw away. I'm not happy about this situation. If your like me where you want to use them at night only I wouldn't recommend them!!!! But if you don't mind them staying on all hours as the vehicle is running then you'll have no problem.

Typically I would rate this product at a 5-star. It's gorgeous, and really cranks up the "impressive" factor of my car. However, the installation was difficult on my 2018 Nissan Murano. There was not a fuse to attach it to at the battery that did not use constant battery power (meaning the light won't shut off, even though the car is off). From there we knew it had to be run through the firewall to the fuse box inside the vehicle. That took a little work but my husband and son made it happen. So because of installation issues, it gets a 4 start. It's a good value for the money, it has a sticky strip on the bottom and top of the light so you can decide where is the best place to affix it to your vehicle. It comes with a remote so you can adjust the color, sequence, speed of sequence and brightness. The wire isn't so thick that it's going to make it hard to close the hood of your vehicle. It's built well and I feel is pretty quality. All in all, I'm incredibly happy I decided to get this to improve my car's unique, one-of-a-kind look.

If your fuse box is not in the engine bay it’s difficult and will need to run a wire into the cabin to get to the fuse box; it’s bright and good if installed correctly. AUDI 2011 Q5

Very bright and definitely changes the look of the front end of the car. I've had this for almost a year and have not had a single problem with them.

Very reasonably priced and easy to install but be careful when connecting to fuses cuz several of mine were blown after following youTube video.

I’m not sure how impressed I am with the reliability of this light strip. The installation was pretty easy and straightforward. It worked great for the remainder of the summer and fall. I live in an area where we get it considerable amount of snow and some freezing rain. We also didn’t have extreme cold temperatures either. Keeping in mind, I was very careful removing snow from my vehicle because I didn’t want to rip the strip off my hood as it’s only held on with 2 way tape ( that I must say is impressive). About halfway through the winter I noticed on the driver side the light strip had a few colours that did not light up although it says that it’s waterproof it may not be weather or winter proof. This light strip may work great where you don’t have any adverse cold weather, but I can’t with 100% certainty I would recommend it for harsh environments such as we have here in southern Ontario Canada.
