This kit worked great. No instructions so go to YouTube to see how to replace this, but all the parts were in the box and everything fit as I had hoped. Door handle is now installed and working great. Saved big bucks.

This kit worked great. Easy install once you remove panel, insulation and plastic. Make sure to keep rods where needed.

2014 Mercedes C250, this part fit perfect. If only Mercedes made its lower end vehicles to last I never would have needed it. Was hard to install, but worth saving hundreds on someone else doing it.

Product is good do it yourself and save 1000. Not hard just follow steps from you tube. It takes about 3 hours that’s why the mechanics charge so much or just want to replace the whole panel. I used a chisel for the plastic rivets mentioned in reviews no problem, you don’t need a special saw and I didn’t use plastic trim tools just a small 6 inch crowbar and a few normal hand tools. To take the old plastic river out of the old handle simply push a socket the same size on the end sticking out with the compression teeth and out keeps from breaking that which you need to attach the cable to the new handle and this kit does not have or order one just to be sure.

To be honestly I hardly ever leave reviews, it’s too time consuming. BUT this product saved me over $1,000 and only took 3 hours!!! The only tool you might in addition to what is stated above is plastic trim removal tools (I picked up a set at Oriley’s Auto Parts for $17). These are essential to keep you from tearing up your trim and door paint. We also used a dremel to remove the plastic pieces, just to speed things up. The instruction video on YouTube is awesome as well as the written instructions on youcanic.com the other video that was helpful was on YouTube titled: “MERCEDES W204 C250 C300 FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL C200 C220 C320 C180 C350” by “auto repair guys” I would recommend watching this before proceeding. 100% worth every penny, I am so happy I was able to fix the problem with a few hours and $60 instead of the $1200 the repair shops wanted! Don’t listen to repair shop that will telll the wire broke and the only way to repair is to replace the panel. The wire isn’t even on the trim panel, it simple hooks into place. The thing that snapped is the plastic door handle which this kit fixes.

This saved me about $1k at Mercedes. Fortunately my Mercedes service shop was able to put it on for me - just didn't provide the normal service warranty since they weren't genuine parts. I've been using it now for about 3 months with no problems and it looks exactly like the previous handle!

Handle arrived in time and the look and finish matches the original. Once installed, the fit is acceptable, not quite perfect but most would not even notice (the install is quite the process, fortunately there are some excellent tutorials on YouTube). Unfortunately, this handle broke 2 days after installing it. This handle is noticeably lighter than the original which made me a bit apprehensive about using it but opening the window to reach the outside handle to open the door was getting old so I decided to give it a try. Pretty much broke in the same spot the original one did. The difference is the original lasted 11 years. I ordered a Mercedes handle now. It is a lot of work to take the door panel off and apart to replace so hoping that a factory one will last another 11 years.
