Need to be careful with the box getting there not damaged

Loved it so much I bought three more
These bowls are well made and stylish in appearance like everything else in the New Wave range. It is larger than I expected but that is fine as I like preparing large quantities of salad. It could also be used as a fruit bowl or an uncovered vegetable dish - New Wave items are so versatile :-) It is fairly heavy, but that is due to its quality.

Fine china
This is a fine china salad bowl and part of Villeroy & Boch’sNewWave range. It coordinates well with the other pieces and the only thing to bear in mind is that it is a large item, so may present some storage issues. I liked it sufficiently to buy more for use on the buffet table - fruit salad, pasta salad, leafy salad, couscous and so on. The china is light enough that stacking more than one on a shelf won’t add significant weight and they stack neatly.

Fantastic purchase
We use this bowl as a fruit bowl and it always gets lots of complements. It's perfect for keeping bananas separate to other fruits. It is a little to large for our dishwasher but washes easily in the sink between uses. Fairly hardy and a good addition to any kitchen.

Arrived damaged twice !!
The original ordered item and replacement both arrived damaged China requires more robust packaging than just on box rattling around in a bigger box Both the Manufacturer and Amazon need to review their packaging of this item.

Diese Reisschale war ein Geschenk für meine Cousine. Sie sammelt die New Wave Serie und diese Schale ist eine wirklich schöne Ergänzung. Sie verwendet sie als Suppen- und Salatschüssel Das Porzellan ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig und sehr schön Ich persönlich würde mir die New Wave Serie zwar nicht kaufen, da sie für mich einfach zuviel Platz im Geschirrspüler benötigt. Da bin ich eher der Praktiker. Aber über Geschmäcker und Vorlieben lässt sich streiten

I own many Villeroy and Boch pieces, this is my absolute favorite. Simple, stylish and has multiple uses.
