This hub is excellent for connecting devices to your computer or tablet. I have done speed tests through the UGREEN 10Gbps hub connected to iMac 18,2 USBC/Thunderbolt3 input using Apple's Thunderbolt4 1m cable with iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I'm getting 120% to 140% of what I'm paying my ISP for. The UGREEN hub has no power delivery, but has 900mA for current available. And that's it. I only have one USBC device at this time [iPhone 16 Pro Max], so I can't judge reaching the 10Gbps speeds. Works well Provides mix of ports to use both types of USB cables so expands options for hard drives and accessories.

The hub does what it is supposed to do. Replaces my old low speed hub that had issues with data transfers especially when connected to devices that used USB-C cables. USB-C and USB-A connectors are solid so far.

So far all the ports are working as expected but it doesn't work with my USB-C powered external monitor. The monitor powers on but isn't receiving a video signal. Very disappointing since that's one of the main reasons I purchased this adapter. I can still use it though so wasn't a wasted purchase.

I have another usb hub (amazon brand) couple years ago. But that one didn't work when I plug in my 2TB external drive and was not able to read my iphone. But this UGREEN USB Hub was awesome. My external drive and iphone totally worked when connect to this, and I was able to transfer tons of photos from my iphone to the external drive quickly. So excited that this Hub worked so well. And for $20, totally worth the money!! Love it!!!

My use case is connecting 2 external SSDs and 2 HDDs to a laptop with this adapter. I tried a cheaper item that ended up possibly causing an external HDD to fail. I was initially reluctant to spend the money on a name-brand item, but doing so may have cost me a HDD replacement. Learn from my mistake. This adapter has worked for me for about a month with the aforementioned 4 external drives without issue so far. Adapter gets a bit (not concerningly) warm during use, but its description says it's made of aluminum, and it feels like it is, so that helps dissipate heat.

As soon as I opened the package, I was seriously impressed by the quality of the heavy-duty (but flexible!) braided cable, the plug and the overall look and feel. I selected this product because I've gotten Ugreen products in the past and liked them for price and quality. This one seemed perfect because it supports both USB-C and USB-A ports at high speed, which is exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately I have to return it because I didn't realize that I'd need one that accepts external power to run an SSD drive from my phone.

Works as advertised after a little troubleshooting, which is probably an Apple problem anyway. I had a little bit of issue running an externally powered USB-A time machine drive off of this hub. The imac 24" M1 has two USB-C ports, and two Thunderbolt ports. The drive was not recognized when on the thunderbolt port. When I moved the hub to the USB-C port it works fine. Not sure if this is a problem with the hub, or a problem with Apple. But all ports now work as they should.
