Large Print New Testament with Psalms

KJV and large print, compact Word of God--great for carrying, on the go, packing
Compact and large print--a dream. Sure its stripped down, nothing extra. But if you got the Holy Spirit guiding you as you read, what more do you need? The King James and New King James Versions of the Bible are priceless, and full, unlike subsequent revisions of the scriptures (NIV, RSV, ESV etc)that have significantly reduced scripture passages and words to less powerful meanings, sometimes even leaving significant verses out of the main text.!! (ie Matthew 17:21, 18:11, 6:13b, 23:14, Mark 11:26, Luke 1:28, Acts 8:37 and so on). A major rape of 2 good verses: 1 John 5:7-8 (a clear picture of the Trinity) in NKJV and KJV reads "For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.", while in the NIV Bible, these verses have been reduced to " For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." Yikes. Stick with NKJV and KJV Bibles if you want the whole Truth from God. A great book for more info and scriptures changed is "NEW AGE BIBLE VERSIONS" by Gail Riplinger.

You can't go wrong with these
I love this little Testament! Because it's so easy to use it's become my daily reader and I find myself reading and studying much more than I have in the past. Some mornings I'll pick it up and before I know it I've read through an entire book. I've had it for a little over a year and so far it's held up well. I know as time goes on it will start showing more wear and tear but so far I'm very impressed with it--impressed enough that I'm buying extra copies to have around the house. When I bought this copy I also picked up a copy of Large Print New Testament with Psalms: King James Version because I wasn't sure what the differences would be and they were priced fairly close together. I found the only difference was the cover, where this one is red and that one's black.

Wonderful Large-Print Edition
I am very happy with this edition of the New Testament/Psalms. I was looking for a King James edition that was light in weight in order to carry in my back-pack to and from work every day and one that had large enough print where I wouldn't have to strain my aging eyes. This particular edition from the National Publishing Company (Philadelphia) fits my criteria perfectly. The print isn't regular sized (as suggested by another reviewer) but it isn't huge, either. It's large enough I can read it. Also, the cover design is elegant, and simple at the same time. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Really good large print New Testament
This is a very useful item, especially if you want a 'not too big' New Testament. It has large, clear print, the soft flexible cover is attractive and does not look tacky. Got this for someone who needed to be able to read even if they hadn't got their spectacles on. Quite lightweight and comfortable to hold, it has the added value of the Psalms and a presentation page at the front if you wish to use this as a gift. Excellent value for money, would buy another one for a gift.

You get what you pay for
This New Testament isn’t anything high quality that will last you for years, but you get what you pay for. It’s softcover isn’t the best quality and it just feels cheap. The paper is thin and you can see the words from the other side of the page through the paper. However, it is still the Word of God, and the King James Version offers a beautiful translation. I recommend this for when you need to throw it in a backpack and want to read God’s Word when you are traveling. You can probably find better option but I can’t complain. It gets the job done for me.

A Handy Life-Tool
No need to explain about the Book's contents, for those who consider the Bible to be God's Word! I will simply add that this large print New Testament and Psalms is well presented, light in weight, and easily carried about. The same model has been already used in our family by dear ones in old age and poor health, who wanted to hold on to God's Good News while laying quietly in bed without disturbing others. Its format is much appreciated, and I personally consider it "a handy life-tool".

This is a very easy to read New Testament in poor light situations like ...
NOT LARGE PRINT AT ALL, exactly 12 point, which is slightly larger than 10 point, but in no way should be called "large print." Techniically. large print should be at least 14 point, and GIANT print should be 15 points or larger, some GIANT PRINT BEING UP TO 22 points, wwhich is certainlt giant size. Aside from that, this is a very attractive small (about 5 X 7) volumne. Lastly, the $5 price makes it easy to gift all your friends with one! (NOT RED LETTER, EITHER!)

Did not arrive in what I would describe as new condition
The size print and size of the Bible is perfect. The cover is not what I would call imitation leather. It is more a textured paper. I was disappointed that upon arrival, there was a torn area on the spine and the edges of the cover were damaged. I’m not saying it was used, but was not in pristine condition. I will be contacting the seller to request a replacement.
