Amtech U2020 Universal tap adaptor

Really surprised at quality and the fact it works. Used on mixer tap first. Learned the washers really need to be fitted correct way, Or it leaks (obviously) Once I fitted them correctly, No leaks. Then attached it to (standard) cold water bath tap, just had to adjust position of tap handle, And have left it attached for convenience, with no problems using tap as normal. Then just attach hose when needed. UPDATE! Been using this now since February 13th, Still no leaks or problems 5 years later.

This works it you place the tap in correctly and do it up tight enough. It can be adapted to different sized taps by selecting the appropriate washer. I bought this one as it didn’t cost much, just in case it didn’t work but it did. I’d advise going for this one rather than an expensive brand,

The media could not be loaded. I need to use a metal zip tie to hold it in place so it will not leak. Useful and cheap.

This is a great product and does indeed fit to most indoor taps for your hose. It can be fiddly taking sometime to get it to sit in the right place so the water doesn't squirt out but with 2 rubber fittings it will work. You have to turn it tightly though.... this is where the 1 star comes from.Due to having to screw it so tightly so the water doesn't squirt out the plastic began to split. The tighter I wound the more it split and as soon as it was split it was no good.I have had a Hoselock one for years but the sort the bare end of the hose connects to so needed this sort as we have a new hose. As a result of this cheaper one splitting, I have now bought a Hozelock one where the quality is much higher.If it hadn't split it wold have been 5 stars.

I was a little disappointed with this adapter as it did not fit my tap so well. It kept sliding off the tap when the water pressure went through it. It had a narrow hole for the water to go through and so the water started to spurt out and so you could not run the water very fast.

Class, fits the kitchen Tap but not the bathroom ones. Honestly dont get why I live in a terraced house with no garden taps and this isn't a thing in the local shops, baffling.It's cheap enough, delivery was fine, but yeah, 10/10 for this.

Fits perfect and can now fill the bath without using a jug as have no hot water on the bath. So handy. Easy to connect/remove.

Does the job. For tight fitting the bottom washer needed to be flipped, otherwise leak and spray. Value for money.
