Superb for price
Looks like not bad quality can't wait to hear how it performs at home it's a gift for Christmas off my wife so I will report back as soon as I get to hear it thanks. Reporting back this is a superb little amplifier for the price it drives a pair of LTE tower speakers with easel am very well pleased with it's tone and clarity of sound well done .

Nice for the price.
Wanted this to connect my PS4 via my TV for more imersive sound. It does just that. Don't expect clubland volume but is more than adequate for bedroom. One thing they could do with adding is an on/off light as I've left it switched on by accident. Otherwise a nice bit of kit for the price.

Hums.
The sound quality it produces out of the speakers is great (fine). It volume is fine for its size and rating. The main problem is that the unit itself hums, not through the speakers but just the unit itself when plugged in.

Very good present
This was brought for my Mum as her original amp failed. Apparently it works just as good so in my eyes definitely a good thing.

Volume is lamentably low
Well it looks like an amp - but there the resemblance endsThe device barely raises the volume at allFar better to buy a pair of cans and use the volume switch on the deviceHopeless

Very good value for money plenty of inputs and reasonable power
I used this as part of an 'upstairs' vinyl playing set-up paired with some old Sony speakers and a Lenco L84 deck purchased new. Very pleased with the results - easy to install, compact (only 20cm wide, will sit under a mini hi-fi) and the results are everything I'd wanted. Construction and finish are solid but basic, no money spent on fancy finish and shiny knobs but it does it's job. The power figure of 55W is a maximum - the RMS is 25W-35W, which is adequate for an average room at normal volume. I have used this for a few days now, enough to acquaint myself with it, including any niggles. There is one - there's no pilot light, which isn't a huge issue but it means you have to remember to switch off.

Its Okay, but Just
Firstly its a £45 amp so we shouldn't expect too much but even for £45 its a bit rubbish. The controls on the front are fine - in fact I like the simplicity, but the spring clips on the back are utter rubbish and broke as soon as I pressed them. I have since read reviews on other sites and its a common issue. Don't try and use this with any thick speaker cables and once they are connected leave alone. No use if you need to connect / disconnect regularly. As for the sound - its loud enough but seems to be missing something... depth maybe.. It just sounds flat, but again under for £45 what did I expect. For a PC amplifier or something low grade as it does the job, but just 3 stars due to poor quality build and general sound. I would have given it just 1 or 2 other than the fact it was cheap

Loud enough if you are an insect.
Quality as expected for price - would not recommend.
