Fairly easy to set up! The controller need more explaining how to use in the user manual/setup instructions. But overall the clock holds the time constantly and it looks great!

I like pretty much everything about this clock, except the blinking dots between hour and minutes. I put some tape over them and it works fine for me. From where I sit in the room, I never notice the tape. What I notice is NO BLINKING DOTS. 😊 The only other minor complaint is the when the countdown timer ends, it's just one short beep and done. No incessant beeping to remind you it's done. So if you're not in the room, you'll likely miss it. Otherwise, I like the size, the contrast of green v. white, the temp seems right for the room (based on my thermostat setting), and I like that the week starts on Monday at the top. The remote is pretty easy to use, once you figure it out. And, the auto dimmer works fine for me as well. I thought I'd want it set low, but I don't even notice it adjusting during the day. When I glance at the clock, I can easily tell the time; and if I want to know the day, date, and/or temp, it's just as easy to see.

We love this clock! We needed a clock in the living room that was big enough and bright enough to read from the couch. The green color at the lowest brightness is perfect and doesn't shine harshly at night while we're watching TV. We love all the information it displays... large numbers for the time, as well as the day of the week, the temperature and the numerical month and day. An added feature that we didn't think we would use as much as we do is the countdown timer. You want to leave in ten minutes? Just get the remote and start the timer. It'll beep in ten. Love it!The only thing we didn't realize when we bought it was that it does not work with just the battery alone. We hoped for just a battery-run clock. You need to plug this clock in using your own usb connector plug. Since we hung the clock on the wall, some of the cord shows on the wall. We're okay with that, though, because we love everything else about this clock. We even ordered another one for a friend who liked it so much when she saw it in our living room.

It's difficult to see the microwave clock around the room, and the microwave can't be used when the timer is running.It's easy to read this clock from 25 feet away. It has a remote control, and both count-down and count-up timers. We mostly use it for the timer for cooking, but the clock is nice. It also has an alarm clock, but I won't use that. The remote control is small and comes with battery pre-installed. The print is tiny, so I need glasses to read the buttons. It was easy to install the clock and set it up with the remote. The instructions aren't very good, but give enough information to set up the clock.It has battery backup in case the power goes out. The display won't stay on, but when the power comes back all the settings will be correct. I didn't have any AAA batteries, so I did not install the clock with battery backup.I would buy this clock again, after going through some minor issues.Like someone else said in a review, this clock lost 4 minutes in the 1st 24 hours of operation. Not very good, and I was very disappointed. I decided to give it more time and see if it became more accurate.I installed the 2 AAA batteries for the backup on the 2nd day. It has been 3 days since then, and the clock has been exact ever since I installed the batteries for backup!If you buy this clock, be sure you have 2 AAA batteries or place an order for them. Somehow the timekeeping is inaccurate without the battery backup.When installing the power cord, which is about 10 feet long, there are 2 pins for routing it on the wall. These pins are reverse from a push-pin. The part sticking out of the pin needs to be driven through the pin into the wall. I made the mistake of pushing the flat pin side and the shard edge pierced my finger. So be careful with the pins. Looking at them closely will let you see how they are installed.

This clock has giant numbers, so I can read it across the room without my glasses. Also, I can control all functions with the remote control! When the alarm goes off in the morning, I just dismiss it with the remote! The clock comes with a USB cable to power it, and I have enjoyed taking this clock with me when I travel, because I can power off my power bank, my Ryobi inverter, or a phone charger. The cable is also really long if I need to plug the clock into a far away power source. If I don't need the full length of the cable, the clock has an inbuilt spool to take up the slack. Another big plus is that not only does the clock display the date, but it also displays the day of the week! I work some crazy hours sometimes, and that feature is a huge help! The numbers on the display are perfectly flush with the front of the clock, which has excellent modern appeal. There are buttons on the back of the clock if you need to control it without the remote. Highly recommend! In fact, I'm probably going to buy another one!

No more AM/PM stuff. NONE! Midnight + 15 minutes is, "0:15". Woohoo! Time sync (WWV) is not present. Time zone is not locked. Nicely variable brightness. Large, not harsh, presentation. If desired, mounting on most walls is a breeze. Will likely buy one for every room.

Bought this clock for the #2 bathroom (yes, that too), where the wife prefers to take long baths, but loses track of time. No more! This clock has an amazing set of features. The auto-brightness is especially appreciated. It's easy and intuitive to set. Haven't bothered to use the remote yet, and because it's in a bathroom, I'll probably leave the remote in the medicine cabinet. Best of all, the excellent display is the wife's favorite color! Well worth the cost for such an outstanding device!
