A GREAT BUY - GOOD VALUE - FREE QUICK DELIVERY - WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT
Incredibly quick delivery and for FREE as well. Each bulb individually boxed. Within the box the bulbs are wrapped in a small plastic bag to help you keep your fingers off the glass when fitting (I dispensed with that and used a tissue instead - easier to grip). This is important on halogen bulbs given the heat they produce, any contamination on the glass or 'grease' from your fingers will have a propensity to produce a 'hot spot' on the bulb and burn the fillament prematurely. They look well made but time will tell. The first worked straight out of the box and whilst only been in a few days everything is fine and the lumens output is bang on compared with the original bulbs in the cooker hood. All G4's with those little pins seem to be tricky to fit into the lamp - try using a pair of needle nose pliars (or tweezers) to hold the flat part of the bulb by the pins - makes life so much easier when fitting.Great price especially given the way the bulbs are presented (individually boxed etc). £4.50 incl postage for 10 (though not sure if I will ever use 10) which compares very favourably with well known high street DIY stores at between £1 to £3.00 each or 3 for a fiver. Even if some blow at this price you can not go wrong.RECOMMEND : - )p.s. I will attempt an update if I have a problem with longevity.EDIT: End January 2017. I bought these bulbs 1 year ago. NOTHING AT ALL wrong with longevity, the original two that I replaced are still working absolutely fine in my cooker hood. As I said GOOD RELIABLE BULBS AT A COMPETITIVE PRICE.

... found on the Amazon Marketplace but they are still good value and unlike the others
A little more expensive than some of the similar products found on the Amazon Marketplace but they are still good value and unlike the others, each lamp is individually boxed giving better protection and the look of better quality. So far I have had no problems and found no duds.As with all halogen lamps, the user should handle them with care and not touch the glass directly as this can shorten lamp life - always use the protective sleeve when inserting a new lamp into the holder, withdrawing the sleeve carefully once the lamp is inserted. Allow the lamp to cool before moving an appliance that has been switched on as the lamp filament is particularly fragile when it is hot and can easily fracture if subject to vibration. Taking care in this way should ensure a good working life for the lamp.

Will Definitely Purchase Again!
Superb little bulbs; I have a lovely 3-lamp table light that I was initially thrilled with, then a bulb went and I felt I could maybe manage with just the two, though it wasn't quite the same...however when a second one went, that was it....I needed to find replacements and it was NOT easy!!! Anyway, after searching local stores, only to find that the bulbs themselves might be ok but the pins were much too thick,I finally found the perfect replacements here on Amazon. They are exactly right and at such an amazing price, they are even more so. It is really lovely to have evenings lit up in a perfect ambience once again....not too bright but just right and every bit as good as the original bulbs. Swift delivery and great price for 10 super little bulbs; can only be good!

Good lamps
Unknown brand to me, but these do the job, and haven't actually blown yet. Would recommend, as there's not need to pay loads for lamps to use round the house. If in a moving environment i dont know how these would fare, but there is nothing to suggest they are any worse than the leading expensive brands.

Gets 5 stars just for the price!
A pack of 10 costing less than two cost in many shops - what could possibly be wrong with that?My only reservation is that the bulbs in the original lights I fitted in our kitchen lasted years, but since I rebuilt the kitchen (reusing the old lights and adding new ones) the little buggers have been dying left right and centre. This could be related to the fact that I've been buying bulbs online since about that time too. But the untimely dead ones also include ALL the ones that came with the new lights (Ikea), so maybe there is something else at work? Also, since I've started using bulbs from this delivery (touches lots of wood!) no more have failed, so, even if I did get a bad batch previously, it doesn't mean these are the same.Of course, you could say does it matter, when they are so cheap? And you would have a point. But these bulbs are such a PAIN IN THE REAR to replace, with their tiny little wires and the fact that you're not supposed to touch them directly, that personally I would pay a great deal more just to NEVER have to replace another one again! One last point - when replacing these bulbs, common sense would dictate turning the power off. But as it's only 12v, and the only way to know if you've actually got the bloody things lined up right IS to have the power on so they light up when connected, it's actually quite tempting to leave the lights switched on whilst replacing the bulb. But be warned if you do this - the little sods heat up blindingly quickly. You go from being happy that you've FINALLY managed to insert the tiny wires into the tiny AND invisible holes, to screaming in pain because your finger and thumb have been dipped in napalm - all in about 2 seconds!Oh, and check you're buying the right wattage, they come in 10w and 20w varieties. It's only now, as I right this review and glance at the product description on the right, that I realise that I bought 20w bulbs instead of 10w! Which may or may not be the answer to some of the points above...

Treat with care
I broke 3 whilst trying to fit, ended up removing the unit to get easy access, otherwise lasting fairly well.

Another good value utem
There's nothing wrong with these bulbs...yes, they're fiddly to put into place, but that's the design of the lamp. Those whose bulbs have had a short life, remember these are Halogen and need to be handled with a soft cloth or tissue paper. Do Not, hold them with fingers because this shortens their lifespan. They fit, they work and they're excellent value for money.
