Depends how deep your wood is. A 4.5 x 20mm with a flat head should do it

Q: is the mounting pin removeable or fixed? as i dont want to have to get my glass drilled

Its a clamp! no pins involved. main body screws to substrate, ie hand/base rail. one side is removed, and glass inserted on rubber pads. removed side reattached.to clamp glass in place.

Hello, I'm afraid to the best of our knowledge, 23mm glass clamps don’t exist. We can accommodate clamps from 6-12mm if requested before purchase.
