One of the best tools in my toolset
I recently purchased the OHP 232 VAG-COM KKL 409.1 | VCDS-Lite Scan Tool for my 2004 VW Jetta, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The product arrived incredibly fast, which was a pleasant surprise. Setting it up was a breeze—all I had to do was download the software and pay the $100 for the license.Once connected, the tool worked flawlessly, allowing me to access and diagnose various systems in my vehicle just as advertised. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate and understand. I am able to get into my ecu and do everything I needed to swap to a done to replace my fried one. Make sure to pay the fee to the creater of vag-com, support him as well. This tool has been invaluable for maintaining my car, saving me time and money on diagnostics. I highly recommend it to anyone with a Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, or Skoda vehicle!

“No Response From Controller”
Followed all instructions. Downloaded newest firmware using windows installation wizard. Connected to VCDS-lite and modified COM port settings to reflect recommendations from Ross tech. All connections checked out. Attempt to run scans and every module returns with the same error “No Response From Controller”. Searched internet for answers, every single answer says cable is bad. Called OHP-Tools tech support and a human answered that spoke American English. She took a message. If they call back I will update. Returning this one to try another brand.

Worked on old Fiat Coupe
I was able to use this combined with a 3-pin to 16 pin OBD2 cable on a 94 Fiat Coupe, along with FTDI Drivers (may be included with the disk, but easier to download on FTDI site), and Startrek freeware software. On Windows 10, the device installed correctly which helped me to set it up on Windows 11, where it wasn't working out of the box.On windows 11, you will have to change the device drivers manually in device manager as it shows up under the wrong device type, as "LibUSB-1.0: Albatross [all models], Cebra [all models], HIMS [Sync Braille], HandyTech [FTDI chip], Hedo [MobilLine], MDV [all models]"using driver "WinUSB.SYS", (and won't show up as USB to serial connector, and allocate a COM port if you don't do this).Fixing this just required pointing the device named above in Device manager to the right FTDI drivers, then choosing the correct device name "USB To serial converter", then the COM port was allocated correct and I could connect.

VCDS & VAG Commander
YMMV, but I had no issues with drivers. I tossed the disc in the garbage. I simply plugged it in, Windows 10 found drivers for it, assigned the com port I needed in VCDS, and voila. Also worked for VAG Commander activities. It's probably not the same quality as a rosstech cable, but it also wasn't $200 lol.

Disappointing
Bought this product for a Volkswagen. When opening the package, the disc was scratched and eventually when working the cable was for a BMW. Will not recommend this product to anyone.

Registration
The software is telling me I have to register but I can’t find a link to do so.

Worked with FreeSSM on 2003 Forester
No issue what so-ever. Communicated to ECU/TCU and was able to monitor and pull TCU codes. Super helpful in diagnosing.

Waste of money
There's no directions with it. I had to navigate all the text info and try to understand it and still have nothing except a paper weight...I don't have a BMW, was bought to use with volkswagen.
