Cheaply constructed and fell apart!
Cheaply made and fell apart! I bought these sandbags to protect my garage doors and front and back entry doors during hurricane Irma, but would NOT buy them again. Right out of the bag the fiber material was literally falling apart in my hands and the granules were flying everywhere. They are extremely hard to get off of your skin and clothes. Once watered down these bags did not inflate very big, maybe only 2 inches high. I filled the instructions to the letter. Other than the fact of them falling apart they are easy to work with when laying them down across your door but as for keeping the water back, my bags of mulch did a much better job. Yes MULCH! (But be sure to get the non floating kind and lay them on plastic sheeting.) I've been through many hurricanes in south Florida and have tried many ways to stop water from getting in. These just were not the solution for me. And let me add the 2 stars are for Amazon's amazingly fast shipping!!!

Stops the water
They did stop the water but after several days in the sun they still have not returned to original. Sort of a gooey substance emanates from the bags once wet. Again, they did stop the water from entering our building.

Worked Great for my Project
I purchased this product to create a temporary dam so I could replace the permanent dam. As it turned out I didn’t use it for that .After the new dam was installed, water was leaking through the bottom and after placing just one of these dams the leak stopped. I am so happy I found this product.

Perfect for single car garage door
These are the perfect size to use in front of a single car garage door.They absorb water quickly. Two weeks after they were slightly damped the active ingredient is still holding water.I am hoping once the sun comes out they will dry out and I can fold them up for the next tropical storm.

Flood no more
We purchased these barriers to keep our basement and garage from getting flooded in recent hurricanes. They worked great, keeping out encroaching water.

Did not work. I put on my front porch that floods with heavy rain. It didn’t absorb any water whatsoever!

Works great will be ordering more a bit pricy for only 2 of them but it’s worth.

Good but messy
These are ok. They seemed to be working pretty well when florence came through by keeping water from coming in our basement door. The stuff inside them, though, leaked out and caused a messy icky solution. They kept most of the water out though.
