We have 3 of our own cats and have regular visits from a neighbour’s cat plus a stray that we feed. We treat our cats with Frontline Spot-on plus, but this year we have been invaded. This product is a brilliant weapon in the fight against fleas. I cannot work out how those submitting low reviews have had problems. The top part comes off for ease of loading, then once put back together simply plug in the USB cable (you will need a 5v USB outlet or adapter) and press the button on top, place it where you need it and count the victims. Remember that this is only a trap for fleas, it will not eradicate an infestation but the use of a good quality flea spray and continued treatment of your pets will eventually break the flea cycle. Sadly the trap also kills the fleas, so unfortunately you won’t be able to set up your own flea Circus.

Doesn't work

Only got it yesterday but I set it up near Rupert’s bed overnight. It had caught two fleas. I have been using Advantage treatment on him regularly and I always thought it worked but I thought I saw a cat flea on the sofa so I thought I would try this. I think central heating in the Winter months actually encourages fleas indoors more than the summer months. I think it’s okay, it is easy to set up and you can buy refills. I’ve dropped a star because it is too early to see its potential performance. I’m going to treat Rupert again with Advantage, deep clean the house, boil wash the bedding and spray the carpets with flea spray and switch it on again to see if I have got rid of them.

The device seems quite good at trapping bugs. I'd give it 5 stars, but I've bought five, and two have broken already. The USB socket at the top of the lamp is not well soldered or supported, and separates from the circuit board with very little force. I'm quite disappointed with the sturdiness of the design.

Works

My cat is an indoor cat and hasn't ever left the house so when I seen these tiny discusing things I was p*ssed. Some one brought them in my house and I couldn't get rid of them. I tried everything then I saw this flea.. fly, ect trap on here and I couldn't help but get it to try it and omg it helped me so much. I thought I was going backwards and getting upset to the point I just wanted to leave. When u get to the point when u feel like u have done it then one or two pop back out then all u feel was tired and fed up I'm so glad I got this, 100000% recommend it, best thing I got. But still hoover up everyday and spray flea treatment all In corners and skirting boards ext Since I've done all of it I haven't seen any and it took 3 days to get every one of them... well I hope anyway 😅

Very disappointed it has broken today as the lights do not come on after switching it on there is no life
