Surprisingly durable!
I picked these up to replant some seeds my kids had started in tiny 1" terra cotta pots. I hadn't expected any of them to grow, but somehow we ended up with half a dozen sunflowers, two dozen cornflowers, a collection of green onions, cherry tomatoes, petunias, and a bunch of other little sprouts that were in need of new homes. This was the cheapest way to get the number of pots we needed, with a few extras just in case, and I'm really quite pleased with them. They're pretty standard pots, the kind you'd get a plant in from a nursery or garden center. They're far sturdier than I expected them to be, but they are still quite flexible and if they get squeezed a little they pop right back to their original shape. The kids in question (12, 10, and 4) were pretty rough with them (boys, what can I say?) but none shattered or cracked, and they were thrilled that they got to keep their seedlings. The pots also have excellent drainage, which is great because my 4-year-old wants to water his plants every hour no matter how many times I tell him that will kill them.I think these would hold up fine if you wanted to paint/color/sticker them for decoration; they'd also work well to drop into decorative pots without having to replant, assuming the decorative pots were large enough. Now, my deck is covered in green pots and I find myself wishing I had plant stands...

Nice and small
Nice pots, though smaller than they appear. These azalea pots are smaller than standard 6 in. diameter x 5.75 in. tall pots. These pots measure 6 in. wide at the top, 4.25 inches top to bottom, and 4.125 inches across the base.To give an idea of size, transplanting a 4 inch pot into a standard 6 in. x 5.75 in. container makes sense, there will be plenty of room for new roots to grow. Transplanting a 4 inch pot into a 6 in. azalea pot like this one isn't worth the effort - little room will be available for roots to expand. There are 12 drainage holes in the bottom of each pot. Four of the holes are recessed and will drain above the surface supporting the pot. If you are using a well drained commercial potting soil, twelve holes is excessive. These are not pots to use for the same plant over multiple seasons. Your plant will sink lower into the pot each year, as soil is lost through the dozen large drainage holes. All said, though on the small side, these are fine containers and at a good price. Buy with confidence.

Solution to large drain holes.
I have bought literally thousands of pots in my time, so hopefully this is a fair and honest review. First, .... Unbelievably fast delivery ! Two days in fact. The pots themselves are as thin as l expected for the price, but they did survive the crinkle test and that's by returning back to shape WITHOUT any creasing, after being lightly crushed, with your hand on the base. That's impressive. As most will crease. As to the problem of the large drain holes, just use two pots. By rotating one or the other, the drain hole size can be made large or small and really when you think of it, it's only until the roots fill the pot, you need to worry about soil loss. Then remove the extra pot for using elsewhere.

Just What I Was Looking For!
These are just what I needed! I need a pot for the next step from the tiny seedling container and this is perfect for the job! They are 6" in diameter at the top, approx. 4 1/4" in diameter at the bottom and approx. 4 1/2" tall. They are made of sturdy plastic but stuff and fragile like most this size. The holes at the bottom were a little bigger than I like but I put a small piece of foil in the bottom then poked my own holes in them, now they're perfect! I will be able to reuse these many times and at this price I can repot and share my plants with my friends without going broke! I will be reordering these for sure!!

Perfect little Pots!
These are a great sized pot for up-planting cuttings and seedlings. We got tired of saving nursery containers from other purchases and using them; I finally ordered this pot in bulk and it is so handy to have around. Great for sharing plants with friends as well.

They are green and plastic
I am going to be using them to force amaryllis bulbs as holiday gifts. They are the correct size, but a little flimsy feeling and I'm a little nervous about how many holes are in the bottom. Don't want water leaking out on people's tables.
