I have wavy thick hair that gets all kinked up if I put it in a pony tail or a bun for too long, normal hair elastics also seem to pull out my hair. These are great for decreasing kinks and breakages and even though they look kind of big, you really can't see it when you wear it in your hair, I have black hair so it definitely stand out otherwise but the transparent bobbles are a good choice for a basic, demure ponytail. I usually wear hair elastics around my wrist and someone told me that that is how you end up harboring and spreading lots of germs and normal hair elastics made from synthetic fabric can get quite soggy and gross, can cut off circulation and pull your hair too tight. These are a much better alternative, they are easy to clean and wash, they dry quickly, are not tight around wrists and my pony stays in place without me having to scrape back all hair to the point where you feel like your head is getting stretched. Bear in mind, they are not indestructible, there is a little groove in all of them where you see that either ends of the plastic tubing have been melded together, pull hard enough and it will break but I'm not sure that is the fault of the product so much as my propensity to fiddle. The little see through packet also comes in handy for keeping them because if you get the transparent ones, they can be a little difficult to find again once you've set them down. All in all, the product does what it says and is a much better alternative to your standard hair elastics.

Only had these yesterday, and only used one today and it snapped as I was putting my hair up. Shame really as these have had really good reviews.Was sent out a new pack as a replacement, was a lovely suprise when I come home as I didn't know about them sending out a new pack. Even tho one broke, these bobbles have been amazing. Not a single kink in my hair. And these things are amazing if you have to wear your hair up daily because of work.

Not the cheapest but really good quality. Girlfriend loves them.

Great hair accessory, doesn't leave kinks or tight marks around the wrist. Does stretch with use and doesn't return fully to original size.

Great ties that work well - bought for my daughter to keep her hair tied up for school but now my wife has used them all as she usually has to problems with ties falling out - not with these! Useful having a little pack to keep them in.

No hair snags, doesn’t feel too tight like normal bands, blends into the hair, I love them.

Excellent product. My hair is just long enough to be tied back but these bobbles work well. No pulling all day, and no headaches at the end of the day. Will be looking at other colours too.

Bought these on recommendation by my hairdresser. I have fine hair and these are gentle with my hair when removing unlike normal bobbles.
